Bbq chicken sent me a text estimating the time my chicken would be ready. The Soy and garlic chicken was delicious and that was my first time trying this restaurant. I picked my food the cashier was pleasant and had everything in my to go bag. I have worked in restaurants and I have my food handler's license. Great job bbq Chicken, your food is worth cackling about.“

“I was looking for a good place to eat for lunch and found this place. The food is amazing. I never had dumplings where no sauce was needed. Fresh and explodes in your mouth with flavor. I wish I could give them 10 stars. This place did not disappoint and the high reviews left here are worth the hype. Ordered the spicy soy garlic + fries combo and it was deeeelicious. Fresh, hot, with the perfect amount of spice and the wings are bigger than what you'd get at a chain fried chicken restaurant. I also upgraded my fries to the truffle parmesean - truffle isnt as outstanding of a flavor but the parm was pretty good. The service is also so nice! Mozzarella sticks were frozen, Cajun fries, a handful of paprika drowned over the top Today beer that's normally $6 was $8 plus a $4 tip, tax and looking for another tip. Bill should have been $20 it's $30. Live with your wn failure. Don't put it on the customers. Pretty bartenders won't cover incompetence.“

“Hands down the best chicken ever! Finding good chicken in New York that doesn't break the bank is tough, but Yam Yam is both affordable and high quality. I especially loved their Ppurings—it genuinely tastes exactly like the Korean style chicken. It’s so fresh, crunchy, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place!“

We ordered four boxes of their boneless thighs and chicken wings in a mix of flavors, and everything was basak basak crispy.. and so good..

What really stood out though was the warm welcome ands exceptional customer service. I ordered online and something came up and I realized shortly after that I would be picking it up late, so I called them and asked to push off making the chicken. But they had already started and I just asked them to put the sauce on later which they happily obliged. However when I got there, the owner mentioned she completely remade our order from scratch just to ensure we got our food fresh and hot.

Theyre really friendly and accommodating here. Two box chicken just became my go to chicken spot.“

“Okay so I do think this is a chicken and burger joint now combined together on the outside of the building. I really didn't notice the time for the chicken place. It was any small corner lit up attached to a burger place. With that said I am not mad at it as I ordered the bulgogi burger which was so good. Very soft and flavorful and I also ordered a order of 10-piece wings. I split it between soy, garlic and sweet and spicy. Now for me I am a Korean chicken lover and I just did it fully get the full experience of Korean Chicken meaning that in every bite it is very crunchy and it is packed with the sauce flavor on top for me. I did not get that full effect and that's really why. I love Korean f and wings that are usually double fried so they get a very nice crunch and the sauce is usually nicely styled on now. There was something wrong with the sauce but I would have liked to have a little bit more of it as well as more of a crunch. I would definitely come back here. I did notice that the burger place and the chicken plays. I have menus but a little bit different. I did order from Uber eats so I didn't really notice that at the time until I really checked out your iron. They do have the tablet where you can order from as soon as you get there. That has Uber just did for both places. However I was very happy with the wings. I got 10 pieces which I think you can order. I only ordered through the bloomberger site and they were nice sizes.“

Food: fresh, nicely battered chicken it didn’t seem that the oil was sitting there all day- super fresh not too salty or heavy meal. I also ordered no salt on fries -that was accommodated for. Best fried kitchen that I’ve tried in the Ny/NJ area and I like the Korean twist with the sauces you can ask them to put on side. This is the type of business that local community should support given the way they are not trying to overdo it n keep it tasty at same time.

The flavor was incredibly authentic and reminded me of the original Korean-style chicken I grew up with. “I just got a couple slices after running some errands. The pizza was some of the best I’ve ever had- cooked perfectly, crust wasn’t too crunchy or soft, had great flavor. The service was amazing. The man asked every customer if they wanted salt, pepper, parmesan for their table and asked each family who came in with small children if they wanted their pizza less hot and/or cut smaller for them. “My husband and I went in this afternoon for the first time. We ordered the southwest egg rolls, a gyro for my husband, and a chopped cheese for myself. The southwest egg rolls were pretty solid. The only thing I would suggest is that they’re not placed on lettuce as they were. The lettuce made the bottoms soggy. Otherwise they were really good and the dipping sauce was delicious. My husband did ask for no onions on his gyro, but got onions. That aside the gyro was fantastic. The fried were super crispy thanks to vented plastic to-go containers that should honestly be mandatory. We are looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu!“

“I tried 101 Chicken in Fort Lee and ended up liking it a lot more than I expected. The first thing you notice is the setup — they use a robot fryer, and the kitchen is fully visible from outside. It’s unusually clean for a fried chicken place, almost like a small lab, which immediately gives you confidence about how the food is handled.

The frying quality across the menu was consistently good, and the flavors felt cleaner and more balanced compared to a lot of other Korean-style chicken spots. Here’s what I tried:

101 Potato Crispy Chicken ($14.9)
The most unique item for sure. The potato-crusted coating gives it a sharp, crunchy bite, and the flavor has a slightly sweet, tangy “tomato snack” profile. Not ketchup, but similar enough that it stands out. I really enjoyed this one.

Supreme ($13.9)
Sweet-spicy Korean style with a creamy layer. Flavorful without feeling overly heavy. A good choice if you like sauced chicken.

Original Hot Pepper ($13.5)
Classic fried chicken with a mild spicy seasoning. The finish has a light mala-style tingle, which actually worked well.

Soy Honey ($13.5)
Light, sweet-soy glaze. Easy to eat and not overpowering.

Garlic Crumble ($13.9)
Crispy garlic bits with a touch of sweetness, somewhat like a garlic bread–inspired flavor. Nice, but less distinctive than the earlier ones.

101 Tteokbokki ($13)
Simple and nostalgic — very similar to the street-style tteokbokki you’d find outside Korean schools. Chewy rice cakes with a mildly spicy, slightly sweet sauce.

Cheese Balls ($7)
Crispy outside, chewy inside, and a little sweet at the end. Great with the truffle mayo.

They offer wings, boneless, and drumsticks. I thought the boneless was the best match for their seasoning — it’s dark-meat thigh, so it stays juicy and tender. If you prefer white meat, just keep that in mind.

Overall, I had a really good experience here.
The food was consistently well-fried, the flavors were interesting without being too much, and the open, spotless kitchen was a big plus. Definitely a place I’d come back to, and easy 5 stars from me.“
