I am a student of Martial Arts for many years and a Trenton firefighter, so I have a lot of respect for the Chinese people and the food. “My wife and I order from China Express at least once a week. My wife has conversations with the young lady who seems to always be there answering the phone and ringing you up at the register. She is very friendly and the food is great! I'm working late today and actually picking some up tonight. It is just my wife and I, as the kids are out of the house now, and we always order more food than we could eat, but it is so good the next day.

Parking: They do have tables and chairs to dine in but most people like us prefer to take-out as we live right down the road about 10 minutes from there. With people picking up their orders, there is always parking and never a wait for your order.“

“I have been ordering from China Garden since I was a resident nearby in 2017 and I still order from them after moving to another part of Trenton in 2019. Food is good. Service is fairly quick. Arrives hot when delivered. Good place. There’s another Chinese restaurant a block away but I like China Garden much more.“

“We have our usual Chinese place, but we thought we'd give this one a try because it was conveniently on our way home from a service. I ordered the sezchuan tofu. My husband got vegetable chow mein and we also got a side of vegetable fried rice. The sezchuan tofu was probably the best Chinese takeout I've ever had. It wasn't too spicy to eat but had enough kick to make my sinuses clear. The fried rice was too sticky and didn't seem fried. It was lacking in seasoning and flavor but the vegetables in it were big and chunky. My husband's chow mein looked great but lacked sauce. It was all fresh. I'll def be back for the tofu dish.

Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetable only dishes. And tofu meals

“I enjoy getting take out. This place meets our expectations for Chinese food take out, and is typical for this area. I appreciate that this is a family run place, with their kids learning too. We have tried other places in the area and keep coming back here. Very convenient location for us too.“

The food is fresh, great tasting and the chicken is well trimmed.

I also enjoy looking at the many different styles and sizes of statues for sale.

“Always delicious general shrimp or curry shrimp. Shrimps are big unlike the usual Chinese food places. Food is fresh every time. Sautéed broccoli comes with just a bit of crunch which I like instead of mush. Egg rolls are tasty. Wings are flavorful and crunchy.“

They used to do a lunch buffet from 11-230 on the weekdays. But I don't think that they resumed after Covid. The prices did go up, but the quality of the food is still amazing.

“After seeing some bad reviews on this place, I had to give it a try. The service was great and I didn’t have any problems ordering my food. The person working behind the counter was very professional and nice to me. The sesame chicken was honestly the best I’ve had in this area and the crab ragoon was also perfect. It’s always sad to see people leaving such nasty reviews on a place that actually has great food. I will be back.

“This place has the best sushi in the area. It's take-out only so you have to get all the way back home to eat the delicious sushi. But it's so worth the wait. The prices are fair and customer service is always nice. I always go for sushi but they have everything from general tso's chicken to shrimp dumplings. They have so much to choose from and it's the best quality around!“
