“This is a really nice Chinese restaurant. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is perfect, I'm glad that somebody is finally in this location that can turn it into something. I usually stop here about once a month before I go to rehearsal at a friend's house who lives in Tabernacle, and buy a couple of stupid things. Usually the cheesesteak egg rolls, but this time I was in the mood for beef lo mein, and it was pretty good.“

“This place is amazing I gotta say we’ve went here 1000 times and out of 1000 times the food’s always been good the Service 998 times has always been good. There’s that two times that the service wasn’t good. When was the last time the girl was just something else and then it was one other time we had another girl that she was just crazy other than that, the service has always been good. The manager Matthew he always comes to the table. How are you doing? Is there anything you need sometimes if the waiter or waitress is busy he comes and brings you your food. It is a wonderful place. Wonderful. I would suggest if you haven’t been here yet go there.“

“We called for delivery and waited an hour and the driver still hadn’t showed. We called them and they said they were very busy and we would have to come pick it up. At first I was angry but then I got there and saw how busy they were. The lady was very nice and gave me 2 dollars back and a free 2 liter of Pepsi and was very apologetic. Food is great but sometimes you just need to be patient when they’re slammed. It’s a small restaurant.“

I always have a great experience in the store, whether it's going in to order or just picking up a phone order, the workers (family) are all very friendly and efficient. “Called ahead of time & someone told me the meal I wanted to order was gluten free. Ordered on door dash & they immediately called me to tell me it’s not gluten free and that they will make me my own sauce. They said it also comes with egg rolls that aren’t gluten free and they will put in a free soda to make up for the cost. Not only amazing service, but it was DELICIOUS & came so quick!

“The food was good overall, although my order was incorrect. The crab rangoon was excellent and definitely the highlight of the meal. The beef with onions was very good, and the lo mein was excellent as well—though I feel like lo mein is pretty hard to mess up. The spring rolls were a bit disappointing this time. They’re usually much crispier, but on this visit they were somewhat mushy. Despite the issues, I still enjoyed the meal.“

“My wife and I order from China Express at least once a week. My wife has conversations with the young lady who seems to always be there answering the phone and ringing you up at the register. She is very friendly and the food is great! I'm working late today and actually picking some up tonight. It is just my wife and I, as the kids are out of the house now, and we always order more food than we could eat, but it is so good the next day.

Parking: They do have tables and chairs to dine in but most people like us prefer to take-out as we live right down the road about 10 minutes from there. With people picking up their orders, there is always parking and never a wait for your order.“

“We have our usual Chinese place, but we thought we'd give this one a try because it was conveniently on our way home from a service. I ordered the sezchuan tofu. My husband got vegetable chow mein and we also got a side of vegetable fried rice. The sezchuan tofu was probably the best Chinese takeout I've ever had. It wasn't too spicy to eat but had enough kick to make my sinuses clear. The fried rice was too sticky and didn't seem fried. It was lacking in seasoning and flavor but the vegetables in it were big and chunky. My husband's chow mein looked great but lacked sauce. It was all fresh. I'll def be back for the tofu dish.

Since moving from North Jersey to South Jersey several years ago, we have been trying to find a Chinese restaurant that knew how how make Chicken Chow Mein. Most make what I would call onion soup - it is all onions, with some carrots and very juicy. You NEVER put carrots in Chicken Chow Mein. The May Flower knows how make Chicken Chow Mein that tastes the way it should. Adding extra chicken puts this meal over the top!! We also like their Shrimp Lo Mein. We are anxious to venture further and try additional menu items. If you want Chinese food made the way it should be, this is the place for you. We had our food delivered and were very pleased with their own pleasant, efficient and quick delivery service. We will continue to order from them and may even come in to enjoy their excellent food.“

“Came here after 9pm. Signage clearly states dining room is closed at 9 but drive through open until 9:30. Drive thru worker clearly explained which entrees were still available without us asking. We were delighted to find that the orange chicken was crispy and not overly saucey or soggy. It tasted fresh. I got about $60 worth of food and every single thing I ordered was amazing from the crab Rangoon and wonton soup to my orange chicken and lomein platter. “This is the only place that reminds me of the Chinese food from up north. I’ve tried a few places, and this place resonates and tastes somewhat like the food I am used to ordering from Perth Amboy. The only complaint is they serve a smaller portion than what I am used to getting and a lil more expensive. Otherwise, fresh food and never had a problem.
