“We recently decided to try this Chinese restaurant. Since moving from North Jersey to South Jersey several years ago, we have been trying to find a Chinese restaurant that knew how how make Chicken Chow Mein. Most make what I would call onion soup - it is all onions, with some carrots and very juicy. You NEVER put carrots in Chicken Chow Mein. The May Flower knows how make Chicken Chow Mein that tastes the way it should. Adding extra chicken puts this meal over the top!! We also like their Shrimp Lo Mein. We are anxious to venture further and try additional menu items. If you want Chinese food made the way it should be, this is the place for you. We had our food delivered and were very pleased with their own pleasant, efficient and quick delivery service. We will continue to order from them and may even come in to enjoy their excellent food.“
“Whenever I drive down Rt. 73, I have to stop at PF Changs because it is my go-to place for consistantly fantastic food, always hot and tasty. The staff is attentive and the management goes out of their way to ensure a perfect experience!Parking: Never an issue finding a spotKid-friendliness: Although my child is no longer a "toddler" this restaurant is very friendly for kids of all ages“
“Service and atmosphere: Very spacious with Chinese/Asian style of decoration. Service here is incredibly fast and the staffs are very friendly as well.(1) Scallion Pancake: Very thin and super crispy outside but pretty chewy inside, it went super well with Hoisin sauce.(2) Chicken in wine sauce: The chicken was cooked perfect but the flavor of this dish was way too salty for me. Would pair great with some white rice.(3) Crab meat & pork soup dumplings: Very decent! A dumpling itself is pretty bigger than other dumplings I’ve tried before. The way I have it is to poke a hole to taste the juice then get a little bit soy sauce mixed with vinegar and thin sliced ginger and take everything in one bite. Perfect.(4) Stir-fried Bok Choy: Pretty good but not too impressive to me. I wish there would be more garlic to it.(5) Shanghai Fried Udon: It was okay but not special enough for me to remember.(6) Pan fried crispy noodles with vegetables: I love this dish the most! Very saucy and flavorful and has a lot of mushrooms and veggies to it. However, you should eat this right when it comes out or else your noodles will get soggy.(7) Beef braised noodles: It was okay as well, not too special for me to remember. I wish it was spicier.Overall, the experience was worth it to try one of the very popular restaurants in Cherry Hill. Decent selection of Chinese dishes yet they taste quite too salty to my own liking.“
“This place is absolutely delicious! This is my second time here and I am still blown away with how good everything was. My favorite was the cilantro chicken, and it was the most tender and buttery pieces of chicken I've ever had. I really recommend this place and I can't wait to come back and try more. They have so many options here and everything I've had here was very good.“
“Love love love Ozaki! It’s my favorite Asian restaurant. Their sushi is so good. I recently had the all you can eat sushi for a reasonable price and you can choose appetizers/drink/entree/however much sushi you want/dessert. I tried like 5 different sushi rolls and they were all so good. The service is always good and the restaurant is always clean. I always recommend ppl to go there & have taken my friends, boyfriend, and parents there (on separate occasions, that’s how much I love the food!)“
“I was greeted, seated, and served by the owner. His passion for his tea was obvious, and what a treat the hot house tea was! He told me all about brewing, what makes good tea leaves and trees, and how to drink the tea. The food was just as great, the passion that the people here have for what they do is obvious! What a treat... this place deserves every bit of its high ratings.“
“always content here. Nice place to eat. Far more reasonable then other chinese in the area. Would like a larger lunch selection, but find something no matter what............ brown rice white rice or soups, all no problem for lunch. Nice to be offered the variety. Not so in some other locals.“
“Some of the best orange chicken I’ve had in a long while, it’s on the sweeter side but was not mostly breading like most places. Got the Dan Dan and added veggies and egg and was delicious. Portions were good for the prices! Kids devoured their noodles. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Food came out fairly quick and was hot and fresh. Will be coming back in the future.Kid-friendliness: Provided disposable cups and plates for the toddler. Had high chairs.“
“It’s decent. Ordered based off of previous reviews but it’s decent, not bad…just okay I would not return. Order their ‘Chinese’ food for lunch, 3 lunches. Kung Lao was pale and without spice, which was unusual but it wasn’t bad just different.Sesame chicken is breast meat but was dry in my opinion…But try for yourself! You may enjoy it, for the price I’m not disappointed. Like I said decent.*disclaimer: I have a well-traveled palate“
“Do not hesitate bring an appetite and go. The food was excellent as was the service and the decor, mellow super nice , welcoming vibe & worth a return visit. My date had the Ahi tuna that was cooked to perfection I had the salmon cedar plank also melt in your mouth delicious. Go & enjoy, everything was great.“
“This place has amazing food, if you like spicy food, this hits the spot! The service was slow, the place got busy after I placed the order. They did have lot of orders coming through. But the staff were super helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is decent, the biggest takeaway is the food! Nonetheless everything we ordered was great, my fav is Spicy sauce style with fish and white rice.“
“First time trying this place in back of the supermarket. Super friendly man at the counter. He described the foods as we ordered our favorites: Grilled Pork Banh Mi (Vietnamese baguette with grilled pork and vegetables)and bbq roast pork bun. Very flavorful and delicious. Definitely worth a try. Prices are reasonable.“
“We have eaten here multiple times now and it has always been wonderful. Today, we stopped in to dine in and the restaurant was perfect. Nice dining area and spotless! The food was wonderful! what blows me away is how sweet the owners and workers are, they are the kindest people! This has and always will be our go-to place! If you haven’t been yet, go!“
“I recently ordered from here and the food was excellent. It was very fresh and super tasty. I ordered the combo meals (with different chickens), chicken with broccoli, and Lomein. Although all the food was fresh and good I think this was the best lomein I’ve had in a while! The service was very quick too. The food was ready at the time I ordered it for and pick up was super simple!“
“My go to Chinese place in Jersey. The woman on the phone knows my name and order almost every time I call. They’re very nice and the food is spot on and amazing every time. Even as leftovers the next day!! They cater to any need you would like (ex: light sauce, less vegetables, etc)I wish they had more locations!!“
“Many people are coming in and out of a steady stream but little to no waiting and the small dining area manages to be a peaceful area. Orders take out or dine in always on time and correct. Everyone is always Friendly, kind, considerate, professional and efficient. Great prices but still delicious and always specials along with other fabulous dishes to choose from that you would not expect, cosmic egg plant and walnut chicken just to name two.“
“I can only speak on the food quality since it was delivered via ubereats. I had the general tso chicken with lo mein, it was sooo good! Idk how they’re getting bad ratings for the food.. good Chinese food is hard to come by nowadays, and this was some AMAZING Chinese food. The pricing matched the portions and quality. What else could I say about it? I just don’t understand why the ratings aren’t closer to 5 stars.“
“My wife & I ordered from there for the first, & definitely not last, time today. After reading the reviews people had left online. We had to check it out for ourselves... we were not disappointed at all !! I ordered shrimp fried rice, i finally found a place that doesn't give you those puny like shrimp that you need to sift through your food to find. They were plentiful & huge. This is now my goto place when I'm hungry.. I briefly got to meet the infomus "SONNY". A very nice dude with a great personality. He keeps in mind one of the most important parts of running a buissness.. CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!! He cares wether or not his customers are happy. A rare thing these days..“
“Located on the main route through Moorestown it was a very nice space to enter and be greeted with wonderful aromas. Started with the Chinese pizza. It was a type of flat pancake with very delicious sesame seeds and scallions. The dipping sauce was and another burst of flavor. The Orange beef was very good. The meat was tender and an explosion of flavor. The ingredients seemed very fresh. The Bean curd with Szechuan sauce was very excellent. The veggies were crisp and the sauce was a good proportion to the rest of the dish. The owners were very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Also it seemed that many people ordered out from there. When you are in Moorestown, be sure to stop by.“
“Love the Mei Fun - must try if you haven't! I always add some soy sauce and some it up, but that's a personal preference. Reheats well the next day.Vegetarian options: AvailableKid-friendliness: Daughter loves the lo meinParking: Front“
“We stopped on Sunday and picked up garlic chicken with vegetables, pork lo mein, egg roll and cream cheese wontons. The garlic chicken was so delicious. I just ate the remaining leftovers and the chicken was so tender and juicy, flavor was great and the vegetables were very fresh. I wish I had more. The Lo Mein was good too. Egg rolls are just ok, as well as the cream cheese wontons. This is definitely our go to place, even though there are others places closer to us.Vegetarian options: Not too many vegetarian options for my husband.“
“My wife and I order from China Express at least once a week. My wife has conversations with the young lady who seems to always be there answering the phone and ringing you up at the register. She is very friendly and the food is great! I'm working late today and actually picking some up tonight. It is just my wife and I, as the kids are out of the house now, and we always order more food than we could eat, but it is so good the next day.Parking: They do have tables and chairs to dine in but most people like us prefer to take-out as we live right down the road about 10 minutes from there. With people picking up their orders, there is always parking and never a wait for your order.“
“Home town favorite. Been going here many many years! Best customer service from Ted and his wife. So stop by and say hello. Best general tsos in South Jersey! Now that I live in DC with horrible Chinese eateries and a fake Chinatown. I miss Shanghai express even more.“
“Will be back! Stopped in for sunday lunch and all the staff were friendly. Ordered the meat dumplings, pork lo mein, and spumoni bomba. Didn't have to wait too long and it was all hot and fresh. The servings were big and they offered to wrap up what I couldn't finish. Can confirm the leftovers are just as good the next day! A small space but plenty of seating, not crowded just cozy feeling, with wall seating for individuals if it gets too crowded, but they let you choose wherever you'd like to sit. Great for dining in but I noticed a lot of people coming in for take out so great for that too!“
“This is my go-to spot! The food is so tasty and the service is amazing! I order from often because the food is consistently delicious, and as someone with celiac disease, I don’t get sick from the food!Dietary restrictions: As someone with celiac, I have a couple of options and I don’t get sick.“
“The BEST food ever, hubby, one daughter and myself had Chinese and my older daughter had Japanese food. Chinese food was so good very light but filling and the sushi was so fresh and good my daughter said it was the best she ever had. Don’t hesitate definitely try it, you’ll love it also!“
“Why do Thia restaurants always claim Japanese fist in their name? I learned much conversational Japanese while training with Hikaru Nakamur and am almost certain no one here speaks it. I notice the same thing with Pakistani restaurants, they always put Indian in their name first.“
“We have been living in this area for over 20 year I cannot believe I just ordered tonight. I’m not a big fan of American Chinese take out because it just does not appeal to my palate. This place is a little gem. The orange chicken was delish with real orange peel in the sauce. The beef egg foo young was savory. The char siu pork fried rice is definitely one of my all time favorite. The mixed vegetable with brown saucw was flavorful, crunchy and satisfying. This place rocks!“
“Old school Chinese American food. Not thrilled with location. Not thrilled with what it looks like inside. It’s just a hole in the wall. But MAN! They know how to cook. Everything tastes right. This is my go to spot for bringing home dinner whenever we have guests coming over. It never disappoints. This is totally a takeaway play here. All your favorites will taste great! We love their boneless spare ribs and their general tsos shrimp. Their pork fried rice is delicious!Very fast preparation. They don’t make you wait.I would order from here again and again!“
“Best Chinese ribs I have had. They are the same you'd remember as a kid if your my age....bright red, very 'flat with most of the the meat on the edges. These ribs are what Chinese ribs are supposed to be....just trust me on this one!“
“One of my whole families favorite places to get food from. The food is always good and the family that owns it is hands down the best in the business. Incredibly nice and accommodating. I honestly can't say how much we enjoy this place.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian/vegan options are excellent“
“Perfect place for a nice family dinner. The staff was super caring and the quality of food was really very good. If you go, make sure to get the drunken onion rings. They even had cute small prizes for all the kids.Vegetarian options: They offered to substitute any dish with Tofu. The tofu was really made perfectly. Slightly crispy on the outside and soft inside. Several other vegetarian options on the menu.“
“I can't recommend Jay's enough! The food is consistently great and they have a lot of options, especially if you have dietary restrictions. The owners are friendly and remember your order. This is the only place I will go to for Asian cuisine in South Jersey. Definitely worth it!“
“We family moved to NJ for almost 2years, every weekend we have a dinner at Chef Zhang with my friend family. We all love Chef Zhang and definitely sure this is the best Chinese restaurant around south New Jersey. And servers all also good they didn’t disturb you when we ate food. Because I don’t like be disturbed during eating. Love Chef Zhang very much, Wish their business always good !“
