Came here with my husband for 2 of our anniversary dinners. The atmosphere, customer service and food is exceptional. The ambience, lighting and decor truly makes the night feel special. We moved from Fanwood to Bernardsville in 1993 and then on to Brielle in 2015. When we lived in Fanwood we often took our train-loving toddler on the train from Fanwood to Cranford on Saturday mornings, for a taste of Thomas the Tank Engine en route to Margie's on N. Pairings is a smart and crisp restaurant that refuses to be peigon holed. The kitchen is always looking for ways to meld tastes and textures that is not contrived or forced. The wait staff were attentive and availability when you wanted them. An overall enjoyable experience! An added bonus is they're a BYO establishment.
