“The lady is so nice and her hospitality is outstanding but the india guy was rude and didn't listen to me that I paid extra for cheese. And my sandwich was messy. From next time I will tell the lady to make my sandwich and I hope the owners take any action on this.“

“Since 1970... 12/29/23 Stopped in earlier to pick up lunch. Ordered 2 cold half sandwiches. I'll stress that you should look a menu beforehand. As this place is tiny. It's easy to drive right by if you don't know the area. They were turkey & Swiss plus a roast beef with provolone. My roast beef was shaved with the works. The bread is soft and pillowy. Best bread I've had in a deli around central NJ. Easily :) Staff is very efficient. Prices are reasonable. Each cost about $8. You really don't have to order a whole sandwich. Reading other reviews for this place they mention about 3 and 6 foot heroes for catering purposes. Something to consider for a holiday party. Enjoy.“

“Ive been going here for what seems like 100 years. All the sandwiches are delicious, but what I keep coming back for is the Mac salad.its to die for and I’m pretty sure they sprinkle crack on it (just kidding) Everytime I go I make sure to get a large to eat and a large to take home. I used to work around the corner and I used to go twice a week….now I’m lucky if I have it once every two months because I’ve moved further, but every time I go I am a happy girl.“

There was no tabouli sauce, and served w pickles,cabbage,spices on an interesting bread that was sort if a cross between a pita a roll.. “I saw the Mr. Subs sign on Rt 18 in East Brunswick a few times going through town. Today my wife and I took a shot and got an Italian Sub for lunch… HOLY COW… what a fantastic sandwich!!! “I lived in town for a while and have yet to try this restaurant, but boy am I glad I popped in today. This had the atmosphere of an authentic sandwich shop thats family owned, theres room to sit down and eat or you can just carry out like I did. The wall is literally filled top to bottom with their menu, there has to be over 100 different sandwiches to order. I settled on a honey bbq chicken wrap and my husband got the classic reuben and an order of fries. Our car on the drive home smelled so delicious and when we finally sat down to eat we were absolutely blown away by the food. It was soooo delicious, from the first bite to the last bite. If I could give it 6 stars, I would. Anytime I'm looking for something hot and easy to eat, I will be stopping by this restaurant!“

“Some of the best subs around. I absolutely love this place. I recommend this place if you want a sandwich sub that you can overload and put as many toppings on as you want. “Took a chance on this restaurant passing through on the way to the airport. The burgers were huge and awesome! My husband and I each ordered a side of fries and we definitely could have shared one -- huge amount. Wish the cashier would have let us know when we ordered. “On Sunday, April 14, 2022 I was passing through cranberry New Jersey decided to stop at Mr. sub to get a ham and cheese. They have two sizes 16 & 8 inch. I asked the female preparer. I didn’t get her name. My apologies. She was very nice. Ask her what size is 8 inch. She said “I was going to get smart and said 8 inches”. A friendly bantering. I was going to get smart back with her and say I should know what 8 inch look likes. Outstanding customer service.“

“I've been hesitant to reveal our 'secret place' but Sandwich King deserves a great review. I live in NYC, the parents are in NJ. When I am nearing 8A each week I call in an order for p/u. The service is impeccable, food is excellent, over the years the staff which has not changed are very polite, punctual and efficient. At the counter you can see how fresh the food is. They keep the food prep area and the entire place super clean, spotless. They also have a nice seating area if you want a break from work or just to have a meal with a friend.
