“Melissa Mazepa was my bartender and was the absolute BEST. If you want to feel welcome, look no further! Fast, friendly, and gave me plenty of delicious options to choose from as I have no clue about anything liquor, or the menu overall! She didn’t make me feel clueless, and was extremely attentive! A great conversationist, and overall has phenomenal service attributes! The atmosphere is fun, while also comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant, as well as caddy club!”

“Went here with a party of 8. They don’t accept reservations but they sat our party in a reasonable amount of time. The restaurant was packed! Fun vibe and Friendly and attentive staff.

The food was honestly out of this world delicious. The sourdough toast with ricotta and pistachio might be the best bite I’ve ever had in my life. I had the golden tilefish for dinner and it was cooked beautifully. My wife had the Pork Katsu and it is was also delicious.
Dessert course was awesome. Sticky toffee pudding and an orange cake that will ruin you for all other orange cakes!

“Had the pleasure of staying at the The Gables this past week. I do a good deal of travel and get to see plenty of hotels and inns. This one is right there at the top of the list. Just down the block from the beach, it drips charm, warmth and history yet has all of the modern stuff (AC, TV, WiFi, EV charger etc). Dinner was amazing and the hosts, my friends Steve Beninati and Sondra Beninati as well as the staff really know how to make you feel at home. If you want a place at the Jersey shore for just yourself or for a larger party, this is the place you are looking for.”

Food was as authentic Italian as it gets. Highly recommend the zucchini flowers and meatballs, and the Cacio e Pepe was delicious. My husband said it was the best pork chop he has ever had.”

My go to drink is the salty dog, and it is easy to see why! The cold foam is blue, and just as tasty as it is vibrant. You can choose from an array of healthy-ish Toast or one of the amazing pastries they have stocked from a local at the counter!
