“I found this place on YouTube a couple years ago and have always wanted to visit. There was personal business to attend in NY, so on the way I stopped to finally visit. The food was great, it was a very clean place, and the customer service from Anthony was top notch. Very personable maybe I’m biased, but it was a very positive experience. We walked away with 7 hot dogs with various toppings and finished them in no time. Thank you for the hospitality, I am happy to support a local business like this one! Keep up the good work! ‘Preciate it!“

“The food and beverages are excellent! Everything has been treated carefully and is quite fresh. Finding a decent Korean corn dog restaurant took some time, but I'm glad I found this one. Additionally, they provide a wide range of tastes and combinations that I haven't found anywhere else. You should definitely give this establishment a try if you're searching for an incredible corn dog that is delicious and well-made.“

“It may not look like much on the outside, but this place is great. It’s run by a nice guy, and the cheese fries are also quite solid and taste good. As for the hot dogs, they (from the sausage to the chili to the cheese to the mashed potatoes) have this amazing texture. Like, it has this soft, embracing feel in your mouth that just leaves you with a smile on your face. And the taste is phenomenal. That’s the best way I can describe it, I personally recommend trying this place out yourself if you actually want to know what it’s like…“

“Great little place one could easily miss if they weren't looking. Delicious dogs, relatively inexpensive prices, and great ambience, make this a go to spot. Couple of drawbacks though. Seating very limited, so best time to come is after the lunch rush and before school lets out. Also limited hours of operation, as they are only open during lunch through early afternoon rush hours, so plan accordingly. You won't regret it.“

“located right on newark pompton turnpike, it's such a great place to stop for a quick bite when you just need a good burger (or their ribeye steak...SO GOOD), i've never met a friendlier staff or have had such a delicious meal ready to take home im such a short amount of time. definitely will be recommending this place to everyone i know!!!“

“Burger is OK, but I just ordered a flash burger, which has a fried egg. Specifically asked them not to over fry the egg . And they do exactly what I ask him not to do. If you’re gonna put an egg on a burger like that, you might as well scramble it if you don’t know what over easy means. Definitely don’t waste your money if you want an egg on the burger. Because they definitely don’t make it right.“

“Listen carefully, better yet read carefully.This spot hits, a gag of a location perfect for a first date.The owners are wonderful and easy to communicate w/ and more so dedicated to the craft.The dogs on the other hand...Woah, it HITS, taste buds are going wild right now, my order was a dog w/ chili and Raw Onion, that chili alone can be attached to an I.V for direct absorption please.Overall great spot, if you have a jeep pop open the tail and sit vibe w/ the dog for a bit and keep life moving. A great spot for a quick bite, the best spot for their chili dogs.“

“Randy catered my god daughter’s first birthday party today and his services were nothing short of perfect. He showed up promptly, with a positive attitude, ready to serve the community. He was super respectful, down to earth, and great with the kids. His hot dogs tasted great and offered many different toppings/condiments. “Pastrami House is hands down one of the best deli experiences I’ve had in a long time. As someone who loves great pastrami and corned beef, I have pretty high standards, and this place exceeded every one of them. The meat was incredibly tender, perfectly seasoned, and piled high without sacrificing quality. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. Even if you’re not a pastrami or corned beef fanatic, you’ll leave impressed—it’s simply an outstanding sandwich.
What really made the experience stand out was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly, patient, and welcoming. I was there with my three-year-old son, and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. They treated us like regulars and made sure we had everything we needed, which goes a long way when you’re dining with a young child.
The atmosphere is exactly what you’d hope for from a neighborhood deli—clean, inviting, and comfortable. The location is convenient, the portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair for the quality of food you’re getting.
It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right: incredible food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Pastrami House has earned a customer for life. If you’re anywhere near Morristown and want an amazing sandwich, do yourself a favor and stop in. You won’t regret it.“
