After tasting Caribbean influenced beer at Montclair Brewery we needed Caribbean food! We found Bekka's tucked in on a quiet street in a cozy neighborhood and were treated to yummy Jamaican meals. Wow!! Great experience, and customer service!!! Food was delicious my husband got the j*** chicken and I got the brown stew chicken! Very inexpensive for the amount of food you get! We will be back definitely!!!

I live walking distance from Bekka’s. When she first opened we had some jerk chicken and oxtail. It was okay but not great. However, this morning I had the ackee and salt fish with banana and yam, and it’s the best I ever had. I grew up in East Orange and have been to various Caribbean restaurants and this was the best Jamaican breakfast ever!
