A little while back I tried, KFC (Central Ave EO), for lunch. It was a Wednesday so they have a special for, Country Fried Steak, and I decided to try it. It was fairly decent. It’s cooked fresh so it can take a little while, but it has such a nice crisp to the exterior. The steak tastes more like a country sausage, rather than a beef steak (it may be a sausage patty?). Today (8/19/26), I had the most pleasant experience I've ever had at a KFC. It almost felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. Everyone was polite, and waited patiently (looked like most were ordering the Wednesday special-Chicken Fried Steak, and they can only make so many at once.) The lady in front of me let me get my order before hers since I had to get back to work and she was willing to wait.

A couple was in the restaurant with their dog sitting on the bench so that it could eat from the table. It wasn't my place to say something to the couple, but it definitely was up to KFC management to say something.
