Don Don Curry is located in the Hmart eatery area of a mall, offering Japanese curry and other dishes. It is considered one of the better places for Japanese curry in the local area, outside of Fort Lee. The food is generally okay and typical, with some highlights. The Japanese Curry with Chicken and Rice, specifically the Chicken Cutlet Curry, is quite good and worth ordering. The pork curry is also tasty, described as mild and rich, served with fluffy rice. The soup with pork is noted as not bad at all, and a child enjoyed the chicken with sauce over rice and cabbage.

However, many items can be disappointing. The Teriyaki Chicken Bowl was below average. The pork cutlet was plain, and a side egg was served cold. For the price, which some feel is a bit overpriced, the dishes are missing elements like sides of potato and corn salad or coleslaw, and servings of pickled red radish are very small. The Spicy Chicken Ramen was not spicy at all.

The mall location means paid parking, it can be packed making seating problematic, and the ambiance is not particularly inviting.
