“Nice little Portuguese themed restaurant. Friendly staff. Nice selection on the menu with some unexpected combinations that give a little twist on the expected. “We had a great time with the family here today. Would definitely come back for the food and their prices. The portions are huge and they don't mind people sharing. My ribs were overcooked and the lady in charge did not hesitate to re cook my order which was really nice of her. Meats are cooked over natural wood charcoal. From the fries to the meats everything came out steaming hot which I truly enjoy eating a hot meal. They could have better AC the place is warm due to the grill being inside. “Love this spot! The staff are always super welcoming and friendly. My partner and I usually go to the sister location on Rt 9 in Old Bridge but it is so nice having a Filipino restaurant closer to home. They make everything to order so the food is always nice and fresh. They know us by name at this point and basically know our order by heart, unless we switch it up. Definitely recommend if you want something a little different than the norm around here. They do also have some more standard fare like teriyaki chicken, bbq pork sticks etc. the bubble tea here is great!“

I just had to try it again, and decided for the first time in 20 years, to have someone else (Aleos) cater for my family on Christmas Day. They did not disappoint. Not only was their pick-up on Christmas Eve completely seamless, during the drive up, I encountered someone named Christine who was just so kind and outgoing. Her customer service, along with the great tasting food, went beyond anything I could ever imagine. “I love the food from this place, but I'd honestly recommend ordering to-go or ordering through a food delivery service. I've ordered from here for years and absolutely love their wings and ribs. For some reason, whenever I order the brisket, they always serve me from the flat (typically the driest meat).The reason for the low score is the atmosphere and service from first and most recent visit. The attendant at the counter was very sweet and helpful, but when I inquired about the brisket her manager advised they always serve slices of both the flat and point, I knew that wasn't true from my online orders. I requested the brisket just to test it out and, sure as can be, I onlt received from the flat. I'm not the type to complain about every little thing, so instead, I decided to post on this.I only posted a pic of the brisket because it's the only thing I didn't finish. It was as horrible as it looks and not worth the price.Lesson learned, order online and stick to the wings and ribs. (My kids also like the hot dog and chicken fingers, so I'd say those are good too)“

Tonight, as usual, we had 1/2 rack St. Louis Ribs with side salad and sweet potato fries and BBQ Pulled Chicken with side Cesar salad and Onion Rings. We share everything. DELICIOUS!
