My first time ordering catering food for the holidays from Simply Sofrito I was nervous. The food was delicious, and Yasmin was so kind and took the time to take my order, addressing any questions or concerns I had. They even delivered my catering order all the way to my home and took great care with it. This is why I came back to order for Christmas because I knew we weren't going to be disappointed! The food is made with natural ingredients, and I can really tell the difference......read full review
We found this restaurant not too long and will be making more visits here in the near future. Jasmine has done a great job with the very typical dishes you expect to find in a Puerto Rican restaurant. The food comes out piping hot, and the flavors are on point and the servings are generous. Delicious! 😋 We encourage everyone to make it a point to visit and decide for yourself. I know we will return here often.
We visit for the 1st time on a Friday night, love the music, love the food and the service all very good we highly recommend! Just on constructive opinion, they should have someone out front, when we came in no one was there until we hit the bell and in case you need something if feel like the waitress was the only one there besides that all good 👍🏻

Simply Sofrito Puerto Rican Bistro is a woman-owned restaurant serving authentic and flavorful Puerto Rican food. The food is celebrated as some of the best, with dishes that are perfectly seasoned, not spicy, and not salty. Popular menu items include the tender Beef stew with potatoes and carrots, the well-seasoned pork chunks, and the pork mofongo with a moist plantain base. The loaded plantains with pork and garlic sauce, the churrasco with chimichurri, the Kan Kan, empanadas, and white rice and beans served separately are all highlighted. The passion fruit drink is refreshing and not too sweet.
The staff is exceptionally friendly, approachable, and accommodating, making guests feel at home. They are patient, helpful, and attentive, even with last-minute changes for catering orders or large in-person groups. The owner takes time to explain the menu and the care put into the food. The restaurant is very spacious and can accommodate large parties, often setting up special areas for groups. They are also responsive on social media. The decor is nice and the ambience is festive, transporting diners to a cafe in Puerto Rico.
It is a BYOB establishment. While there can be a wait for the fresh, made-to-order food, it is consistently deemed worth it. The prices are acceptable. The restaurant also offers catering services for events. Overall, it is a highly recommended, special place for delicious, authentic food and memorable, welcoming service.
