“My first time ordering catering food for the holidays from Simply Sofrito I was nervous. The food was delicious, and Yasmin was so kind and took the time to take my order, addressing any questions or concerns I had. They even delivered my catering order all the way to my home and took great care with it. This is why I came back to order for Christmas because I knew we weren't going to be disappointed! The food is made with natural ingredients, and I can really tell the difference... it tasted so good. I loved all the food I ordered from Simply Sofrito; my favorites were the guineo escabeche, potato capers pasteles, empanadas, and the coconut flan. If you don't eat meat, she does have vegetarian and vegan options. I definitely recommend Simply Sofrito if you crave Puerto Rican dishes. I would love to eat at the restaurant sometime too!“

That said we knew it was going to be a good evening before even trying our food! Then we had the tuna pizza and ceviche PHENOMENAL! We asked if we could have chips with the ceviche and at first they were unsure but they made it happen and it was so good! My wife and I both had burgers and we both agreed they were the best we have had in at least 20 yrs. Grade A meat and the french fries were freshly cut and fried. Can't wait to get back. “Just because it’s shaped like a bagel doesn’t make it a bagel. I am there every Wednesday morning where I buy 8 bagels. From the glass you can see the giant vat in the back where they ACTUALLY boil their bagels which is the correct way to make a bagel and not just round dough in the shape of a bagel. These bagels are the best bagels I’ve ever had in New Jersey since moving from New York. The woman behind the counter is always so nice. Their bagels for the quality are well priced. I have plenty of bagel spots around where I live but I drive a few extra miles to this place.“

First off, loved that they have a parking lot which didn’t stress me about finding a spot cause I was going to have that adventure when I headed to the beach. I ordered the grandma’s pie and garlic knots! The grandma’s pie had pesto on it and I am a s***** for pesto!! Love the crust style being crispy. Hands down the best garlic knots I ever had! Don’t sleep on this place. It’s 3 blocks from the beach, easy parking and they deliver. I look forward to some pasta dishes on my next visit! Other key likes of mine was the aesthetic, it’s beautiful Inside but decorated to make you feel outside. I was very impressed with the kid friendly atmosphere of the chalkboard wall, beanbag seats and they even have juice boxes on hand for the kiddos. They also accommodate our tweens and teens with a pizza wing mural for their insta! They really thought of everything. The whole staff were so accommodating and genuine. “We ate at Franny’s yesterday after attending a scouting merit badge class nearby. Everything was amazing. We communicated ahead of time to ensure they could accommodate our party of 16 and were able to place our order ahead of time too. Everything was seamless as we walked in with a table ready and the pizza immediately arrived fresh from the oven. The pizza was a perfect crispy thin crust and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
