“My first time ordering catering food for the holidays from Simply Sofrito I was nervous. The food was delicious, and Yasmin was so kind and took the time to take my order, addressing any questions or concerns I had. They even delivered my catering order all the way to my home and took great care with it. This is why I came back to order for Christmas because I knew we weren't going to be disappointed! The food is made with natural ingredients, and I can really tell the difference... it tasted so good. I loved all the food I ordered from Simply Sofrito; my favorites were the guineo escabeche, potato capers pasteles, empanadas, and the coconut flan. If you don't eat meat, she does have vegetarian and vegan options. I definitely recommend Simply Sofrito if you crave Puerto Rican dishes. I would love to eat at the restaurant sometime too!“

That said we knew it was going to be a good evening before even trying our food! Then we had the tuna pizza and ceviche PHENOMENAL! We asked if we could have chips with the ceviche and at first they were unsure but they made it happen and it was so good! “Absolutely love this place! Our waiter was amazing and very knowledgeable on everything on the menu. Yes EVERYTHING!! I personally don’t like beets but everyone I was with said they were to die for. Meatballs were amazing. The tomato sauce was so yummy. Mushrooms I would label as vegetarian steak. Beautifully charred. The sausage and peppers pasta dish is my favorite thing on the menu. I love everything about it. Pasta is always perfectly cooked. I can’t say enough good things about this place!“

While I can’t speak to the other cuisines I have learned over time that her heart is in every dish. The doro wot is top! (Well it all is). The AP location is lovely. I can’t wait to go back, and that is coming from a Californian.“

“If you’re anywhere near Asbury Park, you definitely have to go to Judy’s. Know that this spot is two lovely spaces within the St. Laurent Hotel, Judy’s (the restaurant) and Harry’s (the lounge/bar). We walked in around 6:15pm on a Friday (off-season, but busy) and the FOH staff made a point to find space for us. Joe and Sarah took it from there and were outstanding. Sat at the chefs counter and loved everything that hit our table - latke and crab/shrimp lumache were true standouts. Come for the exceptional atmosphere, attentive service, delicious food or all of the above! 💕“

“Was there after the lunch crowd today 2/1/22. The place was spotless, the restroom was also. Excellent choice of burgers and sandwiches. My wife and I both had burgers and we both agreed they were the best we have had in at least 20 yrs. Grade A meat and the french fries were freshly cut and fried. Can't wait to get back. The owner, Tom, gave me perfect recommendations for how much to order for the number of guests and made ordering, paying + pickup beyond easy (including some extras like rolls, sauces and pickled onions). The food was the talk of the party!! People couldn't stop going back for more and asking where it came from. Will definitely be back again and again!“

“I can't say enough good things about this place, obviously a waterfront beach bar has an amazing view and cool atmosphere, they're constantly hosting events, live music, which attracts a great crowd as well. And by the way, in my opinion as far as bar food goes they're top tier. Not just burgers and chicken fingers but kabobs and short ribs and things you typically see as bar food. “We’ve been coming to Carton Brewing since they first opened their doors, and it’s become one of our favorite places to spend time, now with our family, too. They’re always putting out new beers to try, and we never leave without grabbing a few to take home. The people here are genuinely great to chat with; Dave especially made us feel completely at home. “Just because it’s shaped like a bagel doesn’t make it a bagel. I am there every Wednesday morning where I buy 8 bagels. From the glass you can see the giant vat in the back where they ACTUALLY boil their bagels which is the correct way to make a bagel and not just round dough in the shape of a bagel. These bagels are the best bagels I’ve ever had in New Jersey since moving from New York. The woman behind the counter is always so nice. Their bagels for the quality are well priced. I have plenty of bagel spots around where I live but I drive a few extra miles to this place.“
