“Had a great second visit to Sea Grass! As mentioned in other reviews this restaurant is BYOB, so we started with our wine (which they nicely brought an ice bucket for) and the oyster special. My boyfriend really appreciated how the oysters weren't overly salty and the pear glaze added a good flavor. Since we had such a large appetizer, we decided to split the halibut for our entree. We were pleasantly surprised when our waitress brought out two plates, pre-split for us. The halibut had a nice herb crust and was served over lobster risotto (and they definitely did not skimp on the lobster!!). Overall, lovely dining experience!“

“Wow. I had “The Slider” breakfast sandwich. It was a classic pork roll, egg n cheese n hash brown. I got it on an everything bagel and just wow. “A fun little brewery in Ocean, NJ. What I really loved about it was that you could order food on the kiosk from Baseline Social next door. There’s games and a variety of tables too. Indoor and outdoor seating. I only had 1 beer, but the prices were reasonable. They had a small assortment, and cans to take home. Will definitely be back.“

“I love this place! My favorite is the cupuacu (def not spelled correctly) smoothie and açaí bowls. You can choose small, medium or large unlike other places and the prices are fair. The baked goods (scones) are amazing and baked by the owner with love. There's usually never a long wait which is great if you're stopping before work. Besides carrying fresh food/coffee the vibe and decor make you wanna hang for awhile... Definitely a favorite!“

Also, the chipotle sammie had one of the best chipotle sauces I've had in my life (and I'm a big self proclaimed chipotle flavor connoisseur). The brisket sandwich is flavourful, but you can end up with too much gristle. The coffee options are excellent and tasty. A hint of cinnamon or nutmeg, depending on the drink, really makes the beverage something special. Service is generally good, but some servers are more genial than others. Outdoor seating is a great option when temps climb above 60 degrees.“

Their lagerbier range today included American and Japanese Rice lagers, an elevated single hop pilsner, and a dark and malty Czech lager. Our favorite on draft was the Light Wing Rauchbier.They also brew up a well curated line of funky beers like Beautiful Little Fool (mango sour) and a saison with hickory bark called Boundless Shade.Yes, they also make delicious IPAs for you hop heads ? but give their lagerbier a try first!“

“I've been coming to this coffee shop since they opened up. It has become a fabulous rendezvous place for many people. This is the only coffee I can have. Because they roasted here I have no issues with acid. All of their coffees are smooth. My favorite is the C&C blend. They have many innovative ways to order including a membership where you can leave money on your account. They even let you order by texting. Sometimes the line is out the door but it is worth the wait.“

“I’ve only gotten take out from this place, but goooooooshdarn is it delicious. We’ve tried four of the specialty pizzas, all of which elicit a happy dance. The general tsos pizza has been my favorite so far, definitely a must try. If you asked my boyfriend though, he’d say the money pie is the sure winner. She puts her blood sweat and tears into making sure you get the healthiest cold press juice around. she has amazing tangy, sweet, and down right healthy juices she researched to put into your temple of a body. Some places don't take into detail the way Cassie does and I know that if the Virgin Marry were to come to the little smelly beautiful crowded garden state of New Jersey she'd stop by her store to replenish her holy vibe with Cassie's cold pressed juice. Not only is there jui e but other tasty thing to try like fruit bars or granola bars all hand made from her store fresh and organic. So on a hot summer day come cool off with a nice green juice or on a cold winter day come warm up with some ginger and cayenne to keep away that winter flu. “Best dinner, drinks and dessert! The food was amazing. We were a party of four and ordered multiple dishes to try. Everything we had was delish! The tostadas, lamb, duck and ceviche were all on point and delicious. The dessert special with yuca and pistachio ice cream was spectacular. The Tequilla Cream was a great drink to top off dessert. “This is a place I really never think of, its just not in my usual repertoire, but I did have an occasion to go there for a business meeting with a very Orthodox man who had come to town to visit me several months ago, and while it is not really known as a sit down place, there were a few tables, the waitress was delightful, and the sushi was excellent. We were left alone in that quiet corner to conduct our business meeting and it was comfortable and quiet. I understand that the real action is on Fridays, or Thursdays and Fridays, in preparation for the weekend, with their take out appetizers, and based on the sushi being so top-notch, I'm sure the other items are excellent too. I can see that there is a great amount of effort and enthusiasm that goes into running this establishment on a daily basis, and I appreciate them being here. I really have to make it a point to go in more often, for more of the delicious sushi, it was a specialty roll with great sauces, and also to try their other items on the menu. Thanks.“

“Went for the holiday brunch. Although the food was good, the staff had difficulty keeping items on the table. It wasn't busy, but I had to ask for grill cheese, salad, and bacon as everything was empty and needed to wait for a staff member to notice. I also had to ask for clean plates. The dessert table had nothing left but cookies and a can of whipped cream. Im not sure what that was for. The cookies left were all picked through and unappealing. Cute place and nice bar with a huge assortment of drinks. I'd like to go back to try the regular menu, but I don't recommend the buffet at all.“

“Small clean restaurant with counter seating. I had lunch here today with my niece. I ordered the steak chimmurra taco and it was absolutely amazing. My husband and I were looking for somewhere different to go for breakfast and we found reviews for Back In Time Cafe on Yelp and had to try it! I had the sunshine sandwich which was amazing and the husband had the frittata which he said was excellent. We started our breakfast by sharing potato pancakes. The best potato pancakes we had in ages! I'm still thinking about them... We can't wait to return for lunch because there were definitely lunch items that we must try, and those potato pancakes, yum! Attentive, friendly, excellent service. Parking is plentiful at the train station. Indoor and outdoor seating. We will definitely be back very soon!“

“The drinks, atmosphere, and the dog-friendliness are excellent but the issue I have is that the pastries are cheap, unhealthy packaged products and they have NO vegan food options at all, which we found a bit unbelievable in this day and age.I attached pictures here of the pastries they have. “BEST lobster outside Maine & I've Summered in Maine since 1961. I only order the Connecticut roll, warm, dripping with large buttery pieces of claw & chopped tail on a traditional soft lobster roll. Delicious! Better flavor, fresher than lobster at the shore's best known seafood restaurants. And a few $ cheaper. I tried the mac & cheese w/ lobster once but frankly, lobster is way too delicate to drown in that sandwich, but it was a noble sandwich for fans. I stick to exactly 1 thing now: 5 stars for their CT lobster roll at Cousins truck, Brick, NJ.“

Despite FOUR events that day at the brewery, there were managers walking over to make sure we were having a good time and to check if there was anything else we needed. It’s rich and creamy. The prices here are quite high more so than any shop in the area. I’d still come back when I’m in the area because I did enjoy it, and I love the ice cream selection they have here. I recommend Main Scoop Creamery in Manasquan!“

“I recently hosted a surprise 30th birthday party with Last Wave and could not recommend their event space highly enough! Event coordinator Dani was extremely responsive and accommodating and made our event so special. The party room, located just off of the beer garden area, is fantastic. The beachy surf themed room could not be more perfect for the area and makes for an easy party set up with minimal decor needed. The room comfortably held 40 people with plenty of room to socialize. Pricing was very reasonable and you are able to bring your own catering - we chose Surf Taco which was close by, reasonably priced, and delicious! Overall, I would recommend Last Wave to anyone looking to host a private event - you truly will not find a better location with better staff, atmosphere, and great beer! “We were a group of five. We had the calamari and cheesesteak eggrolls as appys. Both were outstanding. One in our party ordered the French onion soup. Also delicious! Our deserts were very good also. I would highly recommend the jelly donuts! All of our meals were incredibly good. The service was it excellent. Our server, Elle, went above and beyond, while being very friendly and informative about the menu items. Overall, a very memorable meal. Best restaurant we have been to in a long time.
