“This is one of all time favorite diners. The food is delicious and the servers are so fantastic and kind. I've ordered oatmeal in the afternoon a couple times and they have to make sure they still have any, which luckily they have both times. I know it's a simple item but it's one of my favorites and I appreciate that they always check instead of just saying it's too late. The French toast is some of the best ever, and they always do eggs over hard properly with zero runny yolk. The avocado toast (with added egg especially) is so delicious. The apple crumble pie is the best I've had. Clearly I could go on for days. But truly, even more than the amazing food is the amazing staff. Every single waitstaff member I have had the pleasure of interacting with has been so helpful and thoughtful and generous. I've had items substituted in ways that save money, comped drinks, just so much unexpected kindness. It's the only local diner I gk to. They're the best!“

“Went last night with two friends for my birthday! I think our chef said his name was Gino! He was great and our waitress and the food was great! My only complaint was that the music was blaring so, we couldn't hear what anyone was saying and we really could even talk to each other!!! It took away from the experience since our chef was saying things that we couldn't hear. I did ask three different staff members if they could lower it to no avail. We don't think we will go back there again! We had to keep asking our waitress to repeat herself and that got to be exhsusting😣“

“My family and I ate at this amazing restaurant! We happened to be in the area and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. We were greeted nicely, the service was good and the food was delicious! We even met Richard who took the time to graciously explain the history and origin of the restaurant/ menu. The atmosphere was inviting and rich with culture. I would totally recommend Samarkand! If you are ready for a new and unique dinning experience this is the place for you!“

“Wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. Seafood tower the best part of this $300 meal for 3. Their mussels were good, but had better. Their red fish was delicious. Their keylime pie went in the garbage. Our salads came after the meal, Ceasars with bread crumbs no croutons and definitely no anchovy, which i find odd for a seafood place. I dine out quite a bit, this was mediocre at best. Wont be going back. Would consider it if they had a liquor license just for the tower.“

“Ordered a chicken pesto Stromboli and one of the reasons was the sun dried tomato’s. Unfortunately it came with regular tomatoes which made it watery. Sun-dried tomatoes are more expensive than plum tomatoes and the flavor is very different.if they were not available the server should have mentioned and the price should reflect the difference. Very disappointed and only had a couple bites.“

“It was a new place, so we decided to give it a try. The staff was friendly and sandwiches were so good. I got The Guido and tried a bite of my mom's Nonna's Special. The fact the ingredients are fresh certainly helps. I'll definitely order from here again. I dug their vanilla cream soda as well.“

I’ve been going here for years & they never disappoint. They’re consistent in the flavorful, freshness of their food! I ordered pickup through Uber eats as I haven’t had them in a while & Of course they still didn’t disappoint. They were so quick with making the food! It came fast & was packaged with care! It was warm & fresh & full of flavor! Truly a 5 star experience! I recommend EVERYONE try here! The owners are deserving of local business support as well! Thank you, I will be back again of course! “The food was excellent. our server never checked on us. People around us were served before us. Another server checked on us but even she did not come back to tell us why our food was not served. The food had sat because it was not hot. Our server told us you can get a lobster or crab sauce with the filet but it turned out to be a lobster tail for an upcharge that we weren't advised of. The people ordering drinks got the most attention.“

She took our order, brought the food out and walked away, never asking if we needed anything or checking back to see if everyone was satisfied. She sat at another table instead, chatting with the customers.“
