“The food is always at the proper temperature and the portions are generous. Pretty clean and their salsa bar is always full. Only gripe I have is it’s always freezing inside! In the summer, the air is on full blast. In winter, the heat is barely turned up, if it’s even on! I guess it’s because the kitchen area is warm so the staff doesn’t realize how cold the dining room is for customers.“

“They have the best tacos and burritos“

“LOVED this new restaurant. A must try! The mole sauce on the enchiladas was out of this world DELICIOUS (and gluten free!) and they were super excellent taking care with my allergies. Oysters were fresh and incredible. Cocktails really great, the spicy marg is better than the regular one and the happy hour on Mondays is awesome! Vibe super great as well as the service. My ONLY complaint were the chips, but I feel it's a super important thing at a mexican place to have good chips. These were charred, bland and flavorless, and while I LOVED that they were celiac safe gluten free (not fried in a frier with flour), they kind of ruined what were otherwise decent salsas. They were also a bit chewy almost in a stale way, but the lack of flavor, texture and no salt was the main problem. We actually held back our salt from our oysters to help with the chips, but it didn't solve the texture or overall taste. Otherwise this place was incredible if the chips were good it would have a 11/10 from me and I'd be a regular!!!!! Still will definitely go back here, and hopefully they will reinvent their chips!“

The aroma of the food, the care with which Karina prepared each of the dishes, and the kindness and joy they served us. By the time our table was ready, we didn't want to take it anymore; we ate much more than we planned to order because we didn't want to miss out on their delicious food. I have dietary restrictions, and I was surprised to see that everything from the exquisite tortillas to the delicious tres leches dessert was prepared right there, gluten-free and preservative-free. We were super impressed by the quality and presentation of the shrimp salad and tacos we ordered. And the salsa and chips on the house were a delightful surprise (very yummy too)! Prices were on the higher end but considering the location + the upscale vibe of the restaurant, it was worth it!“

“Great experience, a hidden gem! The food was wonderful and a different experience than the usual Mexican-American cuisine. The seafood-forward menu had unique offerings and the flavors were amazing. Solid service, small but welcoming space.“

“Service: Gustavo man, Gustavo. This Brother gave us top tier service, Masha Allah. He was extremely patient as I was really undecided on what to order since it was authentic Mexican and he really kept our interests in mind. I kept calling him over and over again but he kept smiling and you can tell he was genuinely understanding. He greeted us with Salaam and was so courteous through our whole time there. He also checked in on us to make sure things were going good. Great customer service is something that I never overlook and this customer service I received was one of the best.

Food: And the food was so good. It came out one by one so we had stuff to eat from the moment we sat down with the tortilla chips. Had all of our food within 10 min or so which was great. We had Birria tacos, steak bowl, the special quesadilla (forgot the name as it's in Spanish but it had maiz in the name), and tortilla chips. Everything was delicious and legitimately tasted like an authentic foreign cuisine. It is not your average Mexican bowl place. Heavy props to the chef for the amazing flavors and textures of the food!

Halal: I mostly eat at HFSAA or HMS Halal certified locations. So considering they were also certified is always my first step to going to any restaurant. I wouldn't have even come if they weren't certified.

Remarks: All in all, food and service was great and I definitely recommend others to give it a try!“
