“I recently visited Gordhan Thal in Edison, NJ, and it was a really satisfying experience overall. The food felt very authentic and had that comforting, homemade taste you expect from a good Gujarati thali. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and served hot. I especially appreciated the variety — from the different sabzis to the dal, kadhi, and sweets, it felt like a complete meal rather than just dining out.

The service was warm and attentive. The staff kept checking in and made sure our plates were never empty, which added to the traditional thali experience. It did get a bit busy, so there was a slight wait, but honestly, that just shows how popular the place is.

The ambiance is simple and no-frills, but clean and welcoming. If you’re going there expecting luxury dining, that’s not the vibe — it’s more about good food and a homely atmosphere.

The fry chicken biryani as well as the boneless chicken biryani are very flavorful and the quantity is perfect for 2 people. I have tried a couple of the curries,chicken chettinad and mughlai and they are also quite good. One of my favorite biryani places in NJ!“

“This my regular go to place for Authentic Hyderabadi Biryani from past 7+ years. Paradise Biryani Point always gave excellent experience, never disappointed chicken biryani was extremely delicious, with perfectly cooked rice and tender, flavorful meat. The spices were just right, not less masala or more just perfect proportions

Choice of any 3 of the 4 curries of the day, Gujarati daal, along with 4 chapatis, bowl of rice and papad.The curries were pretty decent except for the one we were really looking forward to - Undhiyo. This could have been better.The chapatis were phenomenal! Thin and perfectly cooked.However, very attentive folks, came over and inquired a couple of times.The place has lost its shine since my last visit but I attribute that to the pandemic. The ambiance is not very inviting but go there for the food anyways.“
