L'Artigiano Gelato is a solid spot at Menlo Park Mall. The gelato is smooth and creamy, especially strawberry. The customer service is great, with a friendly kid with long hair offering samples. A kind gentleman runs the car and scoops customers even when closing. The gelato is absolutely delicious. The pistachio flavor is concentrated, high‑quality pistachios blended into a soft, light base that melts cleanly on the tongue. The shop stores gelato in lidded metal cylinders below table level, not in open trays, showing quality. The kitschy car design passes the rule of thumb. Customers love at first taste and want to try more flavors like coconut and lemon. The family and others say it did not disappoint.
