“Love the late night Taco Bell runs. The food is always great. I love the new street chaplupas and the dulce leche balls. The service is typical. Nothing bad nothing awesome. So is the atmosphere. It's a fast food. What do you expect?! I don't go there for service and ambience. So this chain is a 5 star because it does what it does best.“
“This evening I was dining in at another Taco Bell location when I decided to use one of my rewards on the app to order the cinnamon twists. However, I accidentally ordered it for the Taco Bell on Woodbridge Ave in Edison. The other Taco Bell that I was at was not too far away, but would have been going the opposite direction of my house. I asked the cashier if that order could somehow be canceled or if I could get the reward back. She said no because it was sent to a different location. She suggested I call the Woodbridge Ave Taco Bell to see if they can cancel the order. I called over to the Woodbridge Ave location and spoke with Rosa. She was unable to cancel the order for me as it was already prepped, but said that if I was able to stick around the other Taco Bell for a little bit, she would swing by with the cinnamon twists. I told her not to worry about it as it was my mistake, but she said it would not be a problem as it was actually on her way home and she didn't want me to lose out on my reward. So I agreed. When we met up shortly after, I tried to tip her for going above and beyond, but she refused to take it. Rosa's kindness and generosity was so sweet, and she really brightened what had just been a long, exhausting day :)
One more thing... a couple months ago I ordered from the Woodbridge Ave location on the mobile app and my order got messed up. Not drastically, but still, not what I paid for. However, the manager fixed the mistake and even gave me a coupon for a free taco!
Workers are people too, and sometimes they make mistakes. It is how they handle those mistakes that can often make or break an establishment. Whether the mistake was my own, like in tonight's situation, or the establishment's, I felt that both times the customer service was excellent. I was super grateful for both of the people I interacted with, and for their willingness to go above and beyond.“
“Ordered through the drive thru so I’m not sure about the atmosphere but the employee who took my order was very helpful, walking me through the options on the menu (don’t go often). Also, the chicken chalupa and cheese melt were so delicious.“
