“Waikiki in Saddle Brook is one of my favorite stops. The poke bowls taste fresh and well balanced, with generous portions and a lot of texture in every bite. My bowl is rich in flavor, perfectly glazed, and paired really well with the crunchy toppings and sauces.

The dumplings were crispy on the bottom and packed with flavor, and the wings came out hot and crunchy without feeling greasy. Everything felt fresh, quick, and well put together.

Definitely a great casual spot if you’re craving poke, dumplings, or just an easy comfort meal that still feels quality.

“I have had Poke Crew in Englewood and was stoked to hear it was coming closer to home in Hackensack, happy to report it did not disappoint! Bowls were great, Ma got The Crew and I had the Spicy Tuna. Love the option to build your own using a paper and pen system with all the options so you can fully customize your bowl from proteins to toppings and garnishes and not have to scramble at the counter while ordering. Drinks were good too - Kona coffee bubble tea is strong and not too sweet, while the jasmine honey kumquat shaken iced tea was refreshing. Will be back!!“

“I stopped by Pokeworks and ordered the Yuzu Salmon on a bed of salad greens with the lava sauce, and it was so good. The salmon was fresh, the yuzu added a bright citrus flavor, and the lava sauce brought a serious kick. Fair warning, it is actually spicy. I grew up eating a lot of spicy food, so I loved it, but it may be a bit much if you’re sensitive to heat.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and ordering was quick and easy since it’s counter service. There are a few tables if you want to dine in, and Spot Dessert Bar shares the space if you’re in the mood for dessert afterward. I’d definitely come back for another bowl.“

updating review on 5/7 : i gave them another chance, lovely bowl. I think I was getting the wrong thing previously, the Hawaiian bowl or something, where they cooking the shrimp in a way I did not like. I got their poke bowl and it's very tasty and filling. I would give 5 stars, but to balance, I'll give 4.“

“I got so lucky when I randomly stumbled upon this place while getting lunch at work. As someone who loves chicken teriyaki trust me when I say you must try theirs. I have been searching for the last few years all around the bergen county area for the best chicken teriyaki and I have found it here. This is my absolute favorite! I have tried probably 50+ restaurants and nothing can beat this. From the way they prepare chicken, to the homemade sauce they use, the perfectly cooked rice and the avocado, egg and dumplings they add on.... it is one of the greatest combinations i've ever tasted. On top of that, their sushi is always delicious and fresh. If thats not enough, they also have fantastic owners and workers there. I always get a warm greeting, and they're thankful for my patronage. Fantastic all around. I will be back soon... My favorite sushi spot!“

“While I usually am not a fan of Ramen, the Ramen that I had at this location made me rethink my tastes. The selection of Ramen was wide enough for me to feel lole there were options, and the customer service alongside it was great. Such kind workers who had so much patience with my groups slow commitment to a meal. Would recommend to anyone!“

“Amazing food and atmosphere! The portion sizes and ratios were balanced and you could taste how fresh everything was. My friends got the crabmeat with a variety of toppings and it was amazing. However, salmon has always been my favorite and I would say the salmon here is the best i’ve had so far. It was so buttery and tender. “I had two hour ride to get into the city for some appointments. I had to fast the entire day so when I ran into this little Poke Doke Location I was happy. I didn’t make it to my car to eat it so I just said down outside and enjoy every single bite.“

“Stopped in to try out a mixed 8 piece box since it was highly recommended online. It was clean inside and there was a lot of seating which was nice! I didn’t really know what or how to order since I couldn’t tell if it was separate from the poke bowl order area or not so it was a little confusing. Over all out order was taken quickly and came out fast! It was really good and so nice that it came with a few different sauces too! I would definitely come back and get it again!“

“From the outside, one might think this a food hall of sorts. Its definitely more of a hub for food delivery services. There were countless pickup orders and, including us, 2 other tables that came to sit and eat. The atmosphere has grande ceilings with floor to ceiling windows with bar seating running along and maybe 8 tables. There are hard-copy menus and touchscreen stations to order but the choices are countless; resulting in a time consuming firt-timer experience. There's 1 kitchen that pumps out separate restaurant menu items. The food was ok. I got a Mexican-style chicken bowl that was crossed with another restaurants curry chicken; bites here and there were different. My husband got an Asian-style chicken fried rice bowl that came out cold. 2nd attempt was saturated in sesame oil and inedible. We didn't realize it at the time but Amex Gold got rid of Goldbelly, replaced by Wonder; big mistake in our opinion as Goldbelly is worldwide and Wonder is limited to big-city access for a lesser quality product.“

“I went some friends and we really liked it. The place is spacious, comfortable, and very well located. Everything looked super fresh, the bowls were really good, and the menu has a lot of variety to choose from. I also liked that they have a restroom and the service was fast, which is always appreciated.

It’s the perfect spot to grab something fresh, tasty, and light, especially during the summer. I definitely recommend it.“

“This restaurant is absolutely phenomenal. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.

I ordered the spicy tuna poke bowl and was able to build it exactly the way I wanted. The tuna was incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice. Combined with creamy avocado, crisp cucumber, sweet corn, juicy tomatoes, peppery arugula, and crunchy walnuts, the bowl was bursting with flavor and had the perfect balance of textures.

The shrimp dumplings were equally impressive. They were golden and crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with delicious shrimp filling. They were so good that I could have ordered another batch.

What stood out most was the quality and freshness of the ingredients. You can taste the care that goes into every dish.

If you love fresh, vibrant, and seriously delicious food, this place is a must. I will absolutely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing meal.“

“Great option for lunch in the area. I picked up a two protein poke bowl for around 18$ (added avocado) and was satisfied with the portion and flavors.

They have a full extensive menu as well with special rolls and hot food. Quick friendly service.“
