updating review on 5/7 : i gave them another chance, lovely bowl. I think I was getting the wrong thing previously, the Hawaiian bowl or something, where they cooking the shrimp in a way I did not like. I got their poke bowl and it's very tasty and filling. I would give 5 stars, but to balance, I'll give 4.“

“While I usually am not a fan of Ramen, the Ramen that I had at this location made me rethink my tastes. The selection of Ramen was wide enough for me to feel lole there were options, and the customer service alongside it was great. Such kind workers who had so much patience with my groups slow commitment to a meal. Would recommend to anyone!“

“Amazing food and atmosphere! The portion sizes and ratios were balanced and you could taste how fresh everything was. My friends got the crabmeat with a variety of toppings and it was amazing. However, salmon has always been my favorite and I would say the salmon here is the best i’ve had so far. It was so buttery and tender. Would highly recommend checking out this spot if you have a chance to visit the area!“

“SO happy a poke store finally opened up in east village. Not only are the ingredients so fresh, but they have so many unique toppings and mix ins ive never seen else where- coconut, walnut, pumpkin seeds, after having my first bowl here I can’t go back to any other shop. And to think it couldn’t get better than this, the staff is just AMAZING. They’re beyond friendly and sweet and I genuinely felt like I made 3 new friends after leaving the place. If you have room for dessert, I highly recommend the Thai tea or coconut slush. I’m a tapioca girl but they recommended we try the lychee jelly and HOLY SMOKES I’m now a lychee jelly girl it was DELICIOUS. I’ll be back ASAP“

“I had two hour ride to get into the city for some appointments. I had to fast the entire day so when I ran into this little Poke Doke Location I was happy. I didn’t make it to my car to eat it so I just said down outside and enjoy every single bite.“

“From the outside, one might think this a food hall of sorts. Its definitely more of a hub for food delivery services. There were countless pickup orders and, including us, 2 other tables that came to sit and eat. The atmosphere has grande ceilings with floor to ceiling windows with bar seating running along and maybe 8 tables. There are hard-copy menus and touchscreen stations to order but the choices are countless; resulting in a time consuming firt-timer experience. There's 1 kitchen that pumps out separate restaurant menu items. The food was ok. I got a Mexican-style chicken bowl that was crossed with another restaurants curry chicken; bites here and there were different. My husband got an Asian-style chicken fried rice bowl that came out cold. 2nd attempt was saturated in sesame oil and inedible. We didn't realize it at the time but Amex Gold got rid of Goldbelly, replaced by Wonder; big mistake in our opinion as Goldbelly is worldwide and Wonder is limited to big-city access for a lesser quality product.“

“I have been going to chikarashi on and off since they first opened. The ingredients are quite good and the bowl recipes unique but the price hiking is saddening. It used to be a weekly lunch to every other week. The food is worth trying at least once.“
