Despite the lack of table service, they still ask for a tip, which felt a bit off. Overall, great food, but the service system could be improved.“

“I had an amazing experience at Osaka Sushi Restaurant! It was my first time trying sushi, and I absolutely loved it. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is genuinely kind and attentive.

I have a shellfish allergy, and they went out of their way to make sure I was safe and comfortable — even offering a soy wrap instead. “Went last night with two friends for my birthday! I think our chef said his name was Gino! He was great and our waitress and the food was great! My only complaint was that the music was blaring so, we couldn't hear what anyone was saying and we really could even talk to each other!!! It took away from the experience since our chef was saying things that we couldn't hear. I did ask three different staff members if they could lower it to no avail. We don't think we will go back there again! We had to keep asking our waitress to repeat herself and that got to be exhsusting😣“

“Bento! Bento! Bento! A lot of people have this stigma that grocery stores sushi is not good. Normally I would agree with you however! Not here sweetheart. Not here! All ShopRite locations have different sushi companies that come to their store- prepare package sushi - clean up and move on to the next location.You have to look for the ShopRite that mentions Bento sushi, such as this location. If my memory serves me correctly it says bento sushi next to the ShopRite sign out front“

“First visit last week for lunch on a friend's recommendation. Really good General Tsao combo plate, and salmon bento box. The service was attentive, and pricing surprisingly inexpensive. E.g. The bottled water and canned sweet tea were $1 each. Parking is in the rear of the building. A bit hard to find because of high bushes on the Rte 33 frontage, but worth looking for. Highly recommend "Best Choice."

“If we only came here once, it would have been 5 stars. Upon second visit and trying more of the menu, I have to knock it down to a 4.

The good: The crispy spicy tuna appetizer was great. The Snow Queen halibut was absolutely incredible. The fish quality in the sushi is high across the board.

The less-good: I ordered a signature maki (the Ice and Fire) and did not like it. The Salmon Mentai was way too salty. The tofu skewer's breading was soggy.

At this price point, one of my criteria for 5-star is that I can order anything off the menu - and even if I assumed I wouldn't like it, the chef would be good enough to change my mind. This doesn't meet that bar.“

We started with the miso soup and gyoza, both of which were perfectly seasoned and delicious. The sushi was the real highlight — so fresh and beautifully presented. I highly recommend trying their specialty rolls; the Midori Roll was a flavor explosion!

The portion sizes are generous, and the quality of the ingredients is top-notch. For anyone looking for an authentic and reasonably priced Japanese meal, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
