“Two reasons to go to The Auction (Jersey Shore native clamdiggers still call it that) are for pickles and pretzels. Been going there since I was little, back long before the fire and when "Shimmy the Pickle King" was still there. Bought quart each of news and garlic dills yesterday, along with horseradish. And pretzels, of course. Redneck chic, still a great place.“

“What a great place! I had a huge ham and Swiss on rye that I could only eat half of and saved the rest for dinner. I feel lucky to have such a fine deli in my town. I’ve never had a bad meal here.“

My husband likes all his food moist with sauce so we got some gravy from the chicken in sauce and it was so good. Good amount of heat in the sauce and the meat was fresh and not tough. The rice was fluffy and light and the plantains were a perfect match to the meat.We also got 2 chicken patties and 2 beef patties and they were ok. The meat to pastry ratio is off so you end up eating more pastry than meat which is disappointing. The meat had great flavor but they should make it smaller so the meat stands out more. The dough was buttery and flaky and had a good bite.Overall, it was a good experience. The customer service was a bit dry but polite.I would definitely go back to try more things and would recommend this spot for authentic Haitian food.“

“Fast food reimagined! We ordered egg McMuffins and coffee for 2, and they were delivered to our table in about 5 minutes. And no pimping for tips!

Quality, as always, was good, esp. the coffee. I gave 5 stars for atmosphere too bc the background music is acceptable to enjoyable. NOT annoying as I find in most restaurants; these places have no idea how intrusive their music is, to the detriment of the dining experience.

This place needs to be discovered by Michelin.“

“When reviewing their menu, we saw Birria Tacos and were immediately committed. Upon arrival we were a little alarmed that there was nobody in the restaurant! There are 2 other attached venues by same owners which had customers. But the lack of patrons was a bit of a red flag.

Our service started out with our server, Austin, telling us the drinks we wanted from the on-line menu were no longer available. But they tried to make a smoked cocktail for us first and realized they were out of smoker chips. Our large party of 8 mostly ordered Margaritas, which were decent and discounted on Tuesdays.

We ordered food including Nachos, Quacamole, Quesabirria and Birria tacos, as well as fish tacos and al pastor. The food was fresh and excellent!

We had a visit from an owner/manager as well as the chef. The staff helped us get the Phillies game on the table-side TV.

Overall, the highlight of the night was definitely the Birria, whose consommé was rich, flavorful and not greasy like some. Also the cheese level on the tacos was perfect, the meat was tender and flavorful and the fresh cilantro really made it all pop.

The second best feature of our visit was definitely the service.

My phone battery died before I could get pics of food, but the space is cool.

“I was greeted by Tyleek as soon as I walked in the door, my order was a little annoying but he smiled made my meals exactly how I asked and also chatted with me while making the food. Nedene was at the register to ring me up and she was just as nice as Tyleek. The two of them are awesome and I hope they are working the next time I go back.“

“I have been a big fan of the windmill since they opened in Red Bank. Windmill has always been comfort food for me and my family. We are going through something this week and we stopped by there for a hotdog and crispy cheesefries. They don’t skimp on the cheese either. The staff is on point.“

“I work at the petsmart not far from this location. I can't begin to describe how amazing this one server is behind the counter when I am either going through drive through or ordering inside. He goes above and behind to make sure I feel special and human. It's something that has truly been lost over the spand of time. People don't realize that little extra can boost someone's day can just make them smile and shine some sunshine to their day! He wears the taco hat proudly. He has an awesome personality and amazing customer service! I love coming here just to see him and his smile that makes my day seem so much brighter. He is a star for sure! “My only issue was the ordering. First, when I sign into the app it keeps on sending me a link to click to get back into the app, which is annoying. Second, I clicked through online based on a coupon and started ordering, but when I signed in the promo disappeared and I had to keep logging out and in to get it. The app needs to be improved.“
