“I absolutely love this Chinese food spot. Of course for me it's right in town so that's one huge benefit but the food always tastes great, it's always fast and ready to go, the prices are still relatively on the cheaper side even with all the inflation. Any negative reviews were just from a bunch of whiners And People that are just too picky With the food they are eating. People don't realize how privileged they are to even be eating out compared to other countries so quit whining and appreciate eating the food served by these wonderful people.“

“We called for delivery and waited an hour and the driver still hadn’t showed. We called them and they said they were very busy and we would have to come pick it up. At first I was angry but then I got there and saw how busy they were. The lady was very nice and gave me 2 dollars back and a free 2 liter of Pepsi and was very apologetic. Food is great but sometimes you just need to be patient when they’re slammed. It’s a small restaurant.“

“I ordered General Tso's combination platter, Boneless Spare Ribs and Vegetable Lo Mein. The food was ready in less than 15 minutes. The lady on the phone was helpful when I ordered and clarified each item. I was there at 8:30 pm, the parking lot was pretty dark and most stores were closed on the strip mall where the store is located. There's a laundry mat and seafood restaurant on opposite sides on Mr China. Cars park along the sidewalk in the front of the stores to pick up their orders. Be careful pulling in and out. After I parked I witnessed a car pulling in as a mini van was pulling away from the curb, they b nearly collided.Parking lot hijinks aside, I recommend the food at this restaurant.“

I am a student of Martial Arts for many years and a Trenton firefighter, so I have a lot of respect for the Chinese people and the food. But if you notice the dishes they prepare aren't Chinese food it's American food just cook their way and the texture is great. The food is fresh, great tasting and the chicken is well trimmed.

I also enjoy looking at the many different styles and sizes of statues for sale.

It's a local takeout place and once the Mom of adult children who takes my phone in order realizes it's me walking I. To pick up my food, her expression changes into a smile.“

“After our go-to place sold to new owners during covid, we had been struggling trying to find a Chinese spot that actually had good food....then we found Joyful Garden. We have ordered more items than we normally do just to try out different things amd everything has been excellent. The only thing that wasn't a hit with my husband was the honey wings....he didn't care for the sauce on the wings and texture of the wings. Otherwise this place has great food, at great prices. “My wife and I order from China Express at least once a week. My wife has conversations with the young lady who seems to always be there answering the phone and ringing you up at the register. She is very friendly and the food is great! I'm working late today and actually picking some up tonight. It is just my wife and I, as the kids are out of the house now, and we always order more food than we could eat, but it is so good the next day.

Parking: They do have tables and chairs to dine in but most people like us prefer to take-out as we live right down the road about 10 minutes from there. With people picking up their orders, there is always parking and never a wait for your order.“

“We have our usual Chinese place, but we thought we'd give this one a try because it was conveniently on our way home from a service. I ordered the sezchuan tofu. My husband got vegetable chow mein and we also got a side of vegetable fried rice. The sezchuan tofu was probably the best Chinese takeout I've ever had. It wasn't too spicy to eat but had enough kick to make my sinuses clear. The fried rice was too sticky and didn't seem fried. It was lacking in seasoning and flavor but the vegetables in it were big and chunky. My husband's chow mein looked great but lacked sauce. It was all fresh. I'll def be back for the tofu dish.

Then inside most of the tables as we went to sit were either not cleared or they were still dirty along with the seats. looking around the entire was not very clean. it just wasn't from todays business. it was build up. it has never been this way in the past. if the eating area is like this/ what about the kitchen. we actually walked out.“
