“Opened at 7 PM. We got there at 7:14 and it was PACKED and they music was bumpin'. We sat at the last table available and a waitress came to get our order immediately. My gf and I split a chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries w a side salad. Portions were generous for the city and we left full! Seemed like a big party bar and we loved the energy! Wish we could've stayed longer!“

“Had such a great experience at this bar! The atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming — perfect for catching the game and hanging out with friends. The food and drinks were solid, but what really made the visit stand out was the service.
Jorge, our server, was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly attentive, kind, and professional — which honestly feels rare these days. He always made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving customers a great experience, and that made all the difference.

Came here after a long week at my stupid job just to chill, work on my online business and relax. The metal music was on point, and Jason the bartender was super cool — he went above and beyond to customize my drink exactly how I wanted it.
Free Wi-Fi, great vibes, killer music. I'm 100% coming back to work, relax, and vibe out.
They have big screens playin sports in case you are a fan or Basketball, Bakeball, , sccer, any sports, etc. 20 tvs.

“My first time to a professional baseball game and only second time to New York! I'm glad it was Game 1 of the ALDS. We flew in Saturday morning from Wilmington, NC and back out Sunday evening! Not only was the energy out of this world, but Lisa, had more control of the bar patrons in both fairness and communication in her delivery of adult beverages! Thanks for a memorable experience and I hope to revisit in the near future! (invitations are gladly accepted - 🤣🤣🤣)“

“Great neighborhood bar. They recently changed a lot of the staff, this is not common for a neighborhood bar, but it “corporately owned, they have 8 other bars in the city. I like it before 10-11pm and during the week because the weekends have that “bridge & tunnel , young & drunk” energy. If it’s one of those nights you want to dance or “go big” rather than “go home” it has a DJ’s and a variety of music. Tuesdays I’ve seen a live band that was really good. It’s a fun place. Wade, one of the new bartenders is awesome, and a girl with straight blonde hair, I just can’t remember her name at the moment. They work together on Tuesdays. Their food comes from Gin Mill, their sister bar down the street. Their tater tots are really good, chicken tendersare decent. Their food in general is pretty good and decent prices.“

“Wow! After looking at many places on Columbus that just didn’t thrill us, we were SO happy to find the incredibly delicious Mexican cuisine at Nina’s last night I had the Cochinita Pibil (with an orange habanero salsa on the side that will let you know who’s boss…) and my old friend had Enchiladas Mole with chicken. Excellent and authentic food with warm, friendly staff, and a great bar selection with many tequilas. Nina’s is great! Reasonable too! Glad to give credit where it’s due to this 7mo old establishment that I hope stays for many years! Will return for more!“

“I have very fond memories here, it was like a little home from home for me while I was bi Atlantic for 6 years, working on the same block as the Pig There are lots of “Irish pubs” in the vicinity, although this is the only one that felt like a real pub in the UK rather than a novelty in New York Hopefully I will be back again one day! “Went here while in town for the George Straight concert. The food was great, and the staff were awesome, especially Nichole our waitress. The owner himself was very friendly and helpful explaining how the shuttle works, which I highly recommend! Definitely recommend this place and will definitely be going back for our next concert down there.“

“I came back to Tap House on a Saturday afternoon and had a great time. The bartender was super friendly. I ordered a burger from the brunch menu, which was delicious by the way, and she replaced the tots with fries and since brunch includes a drink she included the beer I was already drinking (brunch menu only had mimosas, screw driver and a couple other drinks, but beer). Fries were also delicious! Nice ambiance music and friendly patrons. I will definitely be back! Parking isn’t easy but you can find metered parking. Be careful if you park near the residential area because some streets are private and they can boot your car.“

“As a Nottingham Forest fan living in NYC, how I’ve only discovered this bar is beyond me.
Decent selection of European draft beers and food, ordered the bacon sarnie (kudos on calling it that btw), I also kept seeing pretzels the size of a small car being served which was impressive in its own right, so even if you don’t like sports but like massive knots of dough this is a sight to behold in its own right.
Atmosphere wasn’t obnoxious and plays all the important football matches with a scheduled and well organized setup, TV’s are labelled with what game they’re playing and they have a calendar on their website with what games they’re showing in advance. Although they should be more active with their instagram but hey?
So congratulations Smithfield Hall, you’ve successfully managed to drag me from the depths of Brooklyn all the way into the city to what football. I look forward to coming here more often.“

The jalapeño margarita had quite the kick. Sam, the gentleman who helped me, showed he the bottle with the jalapeño slices in the tequila bottle so you're getting a lot of heat from the peppers too. Good stuff!“
