“Tough go give a review since the place seems temporary until they open a full restaurant. The food and drinks were very good and staff friendly and attentive. Unfortunately it was very cold and the prices seemed a little steep for being in a basement. $16 small martinis“
“staff was friendly but the service was very slow, took 45min to get our food then another 10min to get utensils to eat with, food came out,all orders were correct and tasted goodParking: small spot next to bar,15 to 20 cars max,no other parking“
“Let me start off by saying that this restaurant has one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life, and they absolutely deserved winning top spot, it has made it incredibly difficult to order anything else off the menu. The prices are fair and you absolutely get what you pay for, the patron that rated it one star must be a regular at Domino’s or Wawa for their pizza. Restaurants don’t normally have free WiFi so they must have been upset that they couldn’t post their food on instagram and had to opt to have conversation with someone that isn’t on their phone. We haven’t had a a single bad thing off this menu and the service is always quick, and kind. 11/10 highly recommend!“
“I was a bit hesitant to come here…maybe a bit intimidated. However, Beth made me feel as though we are old friends. The food was amazing (which I did not expect but was pleasantly surprised!!!!). I had an amazing chocolate martini for dessert (thank you Beth). It is a bit out of our way but I will definitely be back here again!!!!“
“So many good things to say about Hootz. For starters, the current owners did an incredible job renovating the building inside & out! The staff is friendly & attentive. We stopped in for brunch for the first time today & will definitely be going back. Everything we ate was cooked perfectly & delicious!“
“Didn't stay there but I imagine they are cute. The restaurant & bar are cozy. There is a fireplace in the dining room l. Pleasant bartenders. Unless you live very near the place, it is far away & a little hard to find.Food & drinks: Good & not overly expensive for us but we went for happy hour 4-6. Also a fireplace but not near the bar at the end of dining room but that's ok. The whole place is rustic in a cute way.“
“Went to see our friend John Costello play his blues. Cool old building, great service. Our bartender was great and funny. All Vegan and vegetarian menu was a welcomed suprise. We'll be back to sample the rest of the menu and hear some more great music“
“What can I say, I absolutely love going to see bands I like play here. I always have a complete blast.I love the people who work here. Beers are always cold, vibes are always warm and welcoming. I live not to far away, so I consider this spot one of my local haunts for sure. Definitely happy to have them around.Haven't tried the food yet, but I'm sure it's good. I do kind of wish they had a better selection of beers on draft. They have Fiddlehead which is always good though.“
“The Hub Pub is a has a pleasant ambiance that is relaxing & fun. The menu is basically based on Italian dishes. My family has dined at The Hub Pub four or five times and we have never been disappointed. The food is hot & on time. The wait staff are always great & attentive. They have a variety of beers on tap (my favorite Rolling Rock; you don't see that on tap very often). The owner makes it a point to visit the tables; a nice touch. Definite to The Hub Pub.“
“Tom and Rosie are the most welcoming hosts I've ever encountered. The food is always wonderful and thoughtful, tonight the watermelon gazpacho was so killer as well as the wings. SO YUM. If you are ever on the fence of going, I hope this helps you sway to the side of yes. (Also the oysters with the thai mignonette are just too dang good)“
“My Daughter has Celiac disease, (diagnosed 16 years ago), this means that her life sustaining medications (thyroid hormone replacement rx) will not absorb its full dose for a total of three months or more should she ingest gluten, and it could be to the point where she has heart failure, so we take NO chances. When I have eaten at Sharkeys without my Daughter, I did enjoy very delicious meals... HOWEVER, This place does NOT qualify as "gluten free" in any sense of the terms definition. They do have items that do not contain gluten, but they do not have a separate fryer and do not fully comprehend how dangerous cross contamination is. So no separate prep area, no changing gloves or aprons in prep for handling non-allergen items.Note, for some who have celiac, they are asymptomatic, like my Daughter... this means that we get no warning, we just get worse case scenario right out the gate.I pray those who are looking for a good meal at a decent price and a comfy atmosphere will visit Sharkeys (519) . But those with any special food needs either need to bring their own or not take chances relying on this kitchen to adequately meet your needs.Dietary restrictions: It is said in the body of my review. But to repeat, I would not eat at this restaurant if you have allergen issues or dietary restrictions due to specific disease like Celiac.“
“Always a nice place to stop into when I am in the area. The food is very good and consistent. If you had a meal here three months ago and liked it, the food will be just as good if you go back now. I have been here about six times and have tried something new each time. They have a good range of food options, so it is great that the quality does not fall off in any section of the menu.“
“So pleasantly surprised & pleased with the outstanding service & food we experienced tonight at the Inn. The monkfish was delicious the Fluke was excellent. The grilled Oysters were amazing! Congrats & good luck to new owners. We will definitely be back!“
“Capri is iconic. A staple of Plumsteadville. Great drinks, fantastic company from the bartenders, and super solid food, ranging from apps to full meals. A great place to stop at if you're in the area. Lots of great memories here.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian apps and full meals. Perogi, fried mushrooms/other fried food, and a diverse pizza/pasta menuParking: Huge lot with plenty of spaceKid-friendliness: No issues with under-18 attendance. Diverse menu allows for people of all ages to be well fedWheelchair accessibility: Accessibility to all aspects of the store“
“I had the seared salmon tonight and it looked like it came out of a magazine. The dish was great, green beans were seasoned very well. I started with the seafood chowder which was also very good. They have a new menu and I think a new chef. Go try it.“
“As a wedding vendor myself, I have been in some beautiful, rustic romantic venues throughout PA and North Jersey, but The Farmhouse NJ is at the top of my list where rustic old world charm meets luxurious elegance. From the Silo to the grand ballroom, each showcases their idyllic features from crystal chandeliers, to exposes beams, reclaimed wood and a grand stone (and working) fireplace.Brides, their bridal suite is spacious, charming and a must when getting ready for the morning of. It has comfortable seating, a bathroom, and vanity table top space for your beauty team (as a makeup artist myself, trust me your beauty team will thank you!)Andrea and her team are so warm, attentive and inviting. They genuinely are your their couples having a memorable and lasting great impression. I highly recommend having your wedding or event here.@ashleylaura_beauty“
“Great tavern and worth the trip. I had the blackened bacon blue cheese burger and it was delicious! Cooked perfectly medium rare. The special cream of mushroom soup was incredible! We also had a cauliflower crust white pizza. Again, very good. The wings were great! Everything came out hot. Our waitress was attentive and friendly and helped us with the menu. I saw the salads and they looked good. So did the steak. Make a reservation! We got lucky and they could fit us in. Beer menu matched my taste with local brewery Lone Eagle - both Amber and Ipa on tap. I'll be back l!!“
