I have been getting lomo truck for a while even before they had a headquarters in Garfield, the quality is not what it use to be. The platters that I got last night, 90% of the huge platter was salty and oily rice. Keep in mind they charge $30 a platter. The ceviche on the platter was the only good part (and a very tiny portion). The people who ate last night got sick and had heart burn from what I’m guessing was the bad quality food. Everything was so oily and overly salty that it is really disappointing to have to leave this review, because I would love to support this small business. I will say their flan was good, but that’s not what we came there for…

So I wouldn’t know what the food taste like . We walked thru the tavern place and we sat waiting for someone to come out and greet us … nothing . I didn’t want to keep ringing the bell so then we started playing videos on our phones like maybe someone would come out and tell us to b quiet . Nothing . That’s the service ? I can imagine the food .

This Garfield location is the worst lomo truck location of them all..!!!!! Food is inconsistent, 1 day rice is hard super salti, meat in uncooked, another day meat is burnt, rice is stale super hard.. there is a guy who works the front who is the most rude person I've ever seen, always has a angry face on , you say thank you , he does not reply back. You leave a 5 dollar tip , and they forget to put the hot sauce.. Att Ceaser the owner!! Shakes things up or you will go out of business at this location.

I ordered multiple lomos saltados and arroz chaufa, the rice was hard for every order. The lomo to rice portion was not good, too much rice. The lomo itself barely had flavor. I don’t understand it. The shrimp ceviche had a weird chemical taste, like if they used old limes. This was our first time ordering from here and we won’t again.

So me and my daughter order frequently from Lena Y Carbon in Passaic and it never disappoints,we decided to give Lomo Truck a try through Uber eats and boy do we regret it! The rice was undercooked and dry and lacks flavor !! Even the little onion salad they put on mine was horrible!? what a waste of money !

Ordered 1 chicken lomo, and 2 orders of fried wings with white rice and house salad. White rice in all orders were hard, the fried wings had no seasoning and was extremely hard. The portions are small for the price you are paying. I always wanted to order from here. Unfortunately that was my last time ordering from this

Ordered form here, tallarin saltado had no flavor and all meals were soaking in chicha morada. The rest of the chicha was flowing in the plastic delivery bag. The delivery person was also unprofessional and nasty (apparently they used their own delivery people). Never

I had ordered a few things from here.Arroz Chaufa- It's horrible I don't get it, it's just arroz chaufa I can even make a better one.Fish Ceviche- Outstanding!! I did not expect this....Coming from a place that is specialized in lomo. Perfect portion and if you have leftover it's not even bad the next day which I am AMAZED.Lomo- Good, yummy onions that stay crunchy so if you buy it 5 hours ahead it will still be crunchy.I really like this place their prices are reasonable and I don't have a hard time picking up the food because there is ample parking. The location of this place is great!!!
