Last month I asked for recommendations for an Indian restaurant that had great vegan dishes. Clove Garden Garwood was highly recommended. I order 4 vegan dishes from their website tonight. I noted I was vegan online. I had also ordered Naan, (which I didn’t know contained dairy.) The owner took the time to call me and let me know it’s not vegan and made us Roti instead. I came here to write a review and was genuinely stunned to see that this restaurant is only rated a 4.6. I ordered takeout palak paneer and lamb korma and it was DELICIOUS. (I just ate my leftovers and was moved to write this review lol.) This was my first time eating from this restaurant, but it definitely won’t be my last.
Best Indian food outside of London. The naan is seasoned so well and the Gosht is so perfectly spicy in all the meats. Recently had the chili mono dumplings and they are a new favorite. Surprising so authentic spicy Indian is available in New Jersey far surpassing anything in Edison.
