“I love this place they are so delicious but I had a painful experience when the churro filling got onto my hands now they are very red but it’s ok they were really good. I would definitely get the churros again but maybe use a fork to eat them so they don’t burn my hands.

I also feel like the music is too loud. I don’t have sensory issues, but the volume of that music is making me rethink some things.

Keep up the great work hobrah’s. I’ll be back for my churros with a fork next time.

Friendly greeting when we walked in, quick table service and the food is fresh and very flavorful! We each had Quesadilla's de Carne Asada (Steak) - and the serving sizes were big, we each only ate half and too the rest home.

“I live in the area and love trying out local restaurants, Taquerua La Casita did not disappoint. The atmosphere was great, wel lit and busy. Its a small place, but small places tend to be masters of their craft. I got two orders of tacos, tacos al pastor and tacos de costilla (recommended by the employee working he counter). Both were great, fresh and bold flavors. The pastor came with a slice of pineapple on top which was a nice touch. I really enjoyed the Verde sauce that came with the order. I will definitely return in the future. Thanks for the awesome food. I want to try every item on the menu 🙂“

We’re on vacation and stumbled upon Tortas Lokas Elizabeth¡what a gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and Karen went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Great food, amazing service, and a cozy vibe.

“It’s funny that some of the reviews here complain about servers not speaking English...it’s an actual authentic Mexican restaurant what do you expect? The menus are in both English and Spanish and have descriptions if you are not familiar with Mexican food. I love this place and you really can’t beat the prices. The food is great and I always wind up taking some home (maybe because I fill up on all the chips and salsa they give before the meal).“

“Ordered steak tacos, sides of rice n beans, and the Mexican corn. All of it was delicious. The steak was a bit chewy but everything was well seasoned. The tacos came with a few potatoes, jalapeño, sautéed onions, radish and the typical toppings of cilantro and onion.
The tortillas looked and tasted fresh/homemade. The green and red sides of sauce were tasty and had a kick.
The rice and beans were perfect little sides and the beans were really good. I prefer the beans honestly over other restaurants ive had.
The mexican corn was one long stick, typically its cut into pieces but I loved it and it was a great. Would order it all again but skip the rice - the beans tho, get the beans, lol.“

Will definitely make this my new Spanish go to restaurant. The Salvadorian Chicken Tamale was moist and dense, and the flavors mixed perfectly together. If you order the beef empanadas, ask them for their new homemade hot sauce. It's a perfect blend of sweet & heat to go with the pastry dough. Their plantains were a good addition of sweet to the dense of the meal. Their flan was the perfect size for a nice ending dessert to a very filling meal. Definitely a highly recommended place to get an excellent and very affordable meal.“

The service was Superb, we didn’t have to ask our waiter or waitress for anything we were constantly attended to . The food was great and the portions are are great. I went with my fiancé and daughter so I always order family style , so we had a little of everything . I know it’s cold out but I love a good frozen margarita and it was perfect . Also at the end Jolie , the owner/daughter of the owner also , offered us some free shots of RED CADILLAC TEQUILA , that’s made from them by them . It was very soothing . “My sister told me about her local go-to for tacos. I tried the 3 tacos de birria. It was absolutely delicious. Sizeable portion (I was full with 2) and it came with a consome that you could dip the tacos.

Also, the owner is so kind. She wrote a get well note for my mom on her order. I had mentioned that had been sick.

I remember when this was originally Sol Mar and later, The Castle. Happy to see they've kept and enhanced the grand European inspiration. Service was great. The menu had lots of great choices - we had an entree (short ribs) and tapas/apps (baba ganoush, tortilla Espanhola, garlic shrimp).
