“My family and I were in the mood for Mexican and I happened to find good reviews on Yelp for Freppe's! There is parking in the rear of the restaurant, we walked in through the back and were seated right away. Cute little place looks family ran and operated with a party room upstairs. We started with the sampler appetizer and glad we did. It was so good and enough for the of us 4, it had wings, flautas, wings, & cheese quesadilla. My husband and I shared the Mocajete AMAZING!! Never had veggies mixed in the Mocajete, but to be honest it is a great addition. Portion is huge we both had lunch for the next day! My boys had the Birria tacos and chipotle creamy chicken and shrimp they were very happy with their choices. The only thing that was a little disappointing is the wait staff is more like teenagers so not very attentive; however, for the quality and flavor of the food I'll deal with it. If in the mood for some authentic Mexican cuisine you need to come here!!!!“
“I was there today for the first time and I loved the food, the place was very nice, it looked clean, a little noisy with the music very loud, but the very friendly girl turned it down but the food was very exquisite. I think I will return. I recommend tacos de birria su consume it was delicious ?“
“Great. Great. Great. Unbelievable customer service. Family owned for many years. Ordering pizza and any other items is always a great experience. The secret is in their sauce! The sauce is so succulent. I would highly recommend this place to all my friends and family.“
“PHENOMENAL Mexican food. Very authentic and the food is soooo so delicious and always fresh. Great prices, very generous portions, and wonderful service. Some of my favs are the guacamole, rice & beans, and seafood soup but honestly everything on their menu is good. Cant recommend this place “
“I come here often. It’s a good spot that has a lot of different varieties in central american food. The waitresses are extremely delightful and it’s overall a great place.Parking: There are a couple of spots in front on the street and behind the restuarant they have free parking for customers!“
“Why wasnt I aware of this dish my entire life !! I had a dish called baledas and there are a tortilla stuffed with a choice of meat that you want like chicken, steak, or chorizo - with beans cheese and cream and avocado if you like. They are so huge and i ordered 2 thinking they were small due to the price shown on the menu. I had a strawberry lemonade and it was so good like slushie consistency!!“
“There’s nothing I have not tried from this restaurant that’s ever left me upset. The food here is the best. There’s no other Mexican restaurant I recommend in Plainfield that tops this location. I’ve introduced several friends here and they always go back. The tacos, tortas de milanesa (breaded chicken), chicken flautas, tosatadas de tinga, the sopes and the horchata are my top favorites. At times, they do run out of items because of the demand and they are a small restaurant so they only have about 4-5 tables. I would love to see them expand again! The customer service is honestly great. It’s always women running the register and doing the cooking, I truly respect and admire that. I hope they gain more recognition and continue to grow. Can’t wait to order soon !Parking: Parking lot is in the back of the building and it’s shared between all buildings, there’s also parking on the street up front. Free parking on Sundays“
