“If there were more stars, I'd give them. We are from out of state (formerly from Waldwick) and needed to send a brunch catering to a dear family. Bagel Supreme was professional, sweet, considerate and kind. I called on a Sunday afternoon at 1 PM (about an hour before the store closed) and the owner had his wife call "within the hour." She did and spent time with me on the phone getting the right order to fit my request for the family. Then sent multiple texts to confirm everything throughout the evening. Talk about going ABOVE AND BEYOND! They delivered PROMPTLY as promised the next day and they sent us pictures of the platters to ensure that we saw what was delivered. Greeting cards to mark the occasion with our thoughts HAND WRITTEN were attached. The store would NOT take money until the order was delivered even though I offered to pay in advance. I will absolutely use them in the future for long distance gift giving (who doesn't like food as a gift)? And this will be our very first stop when we are back in town. 1,000% recommend!!!“

Their salads are made fresh on the spot... they cut everything fresh as they need em... they don't store the lettuce pre cut in tubs like most restaurants do. “There are tons of bagel places in NJ, but we always find ourselves comparing to House of Bagels. Definitely our favorite bagels - they’re so soft and fluffy on the inside, great crust with plenty of seasoning (our whole family loves everything bagel). What really seals the deal for us is that the bagels freeze and reheat beautifully. They taste almost as good as new. Our kids have them almost every morning 😂 We’ve moved quite far away but always stock up on our favorite bagels whenever we have a reason to be back in the area.“

“Absolutely the best bagel there is. Each one no matter the flavor is a delight. And their food that they put on the bagel is delicious. Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“

I found the bagels to be soft enough for my kid which was a big deal for him.

Ordered two iced macchiatos without the sugar which was really good

The lady at the register was sweet and welcoming.

It got busy and they handled it really well, it wasn’t a mad house like some places get.“

“I stopped here on a whim driving home and I’m so glad I did. Super friendly workers who asked how I was while they were making my order and one even brought my bag of food to me as I was waiting by the front door.

We ordered the Chipotle Chicken and Chino’s Special subs to go (hero sizes). Both were incredible! The CC had a really nice kick to it and complimented the crispy chicken cutlet very well. Chino’s Special was my favorite - a messy sub with a generous helping of turkey meat with a runny egg.

My family of 3 wished we had more space in our stomachs to finish everything. The hero sized subs are large, and absolutely worth the price especially with similar restaurants charging the same, if not more, for a mediocre sub. We will be back for more!“

For those that are complaining they do not have a griddle, I believe they have a Kosher certification which means no meat can be served here since they use cream cheese (dairy).
