“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

“Thanks for the yelp elite invite. In little part of town is a hidden gem. Must have past it numerous times. What a great experience! It was my first visit at New Territories, a Hong Kong inspired ice cream and dessert shop. When I walked in, I was greeted by nuz one of the workers there. Warm welcome & big smile.She was super informative about the menu and so much fun to talk to. Then I met the owner , Pete. Explained to me to story of the store pretty amazing. They are famous for their bubble waffles. Was hot and fresh with along with vanilla ice cream & sprinkles. I had the double lemon float with lemonade and lemon sherbet as well. Store was very clean. There was about 15 flavors of ice cream to choose from. Definitely will be going back. “Absolutely LOVE Applegates! Its a NE NJ staple! Been going here for years, as an MSU alum, and now that my friend lives relatively close, we always make it a point to get ice cream, year round! Yes its open all year! They let you sample new flavors, and dont skimp on the portions. All homemade!! Plenty of parking however during peak times it might be really hard to park, so go early and frequently. A MUST FOR ICE CREAM LOVERS!“

“My daughter had a play date and her new best friend lives near by this ice cream place, it's a hidden gem they prepared the rolled ice cream and the bubble crepes fresh right in front of you, you got to be a little patience as sometimes there is a line and the 2 servers is doing their very best to prepared all orders according to what received, we ordered Nutella rolled and strawberry banana crepes and both devoured by our kids and both loves it so much, my daughter already asking me to comeback so we can try a different ice cream menu, inside the place is organized and clean, both server is really helpful, I have no complaint with service and everything is delicious, we will definitely coming back soonest.“

“Malibu with cherry Italian Ice. May I saw the service is above & Beyond. Fast and very respected. Makes the customer feel good and its a guarantee of coming back with the entire family and share with others. Lots of different choices and there are little tables to eat outside the ice cream shop. I will say a family in front of me: the mama dropped her ice cream by mistake while carrying the others for her children and they literally gave her a brand new one with no charge! Other places they will charge 😆 but not Ralph's so go check them out this summer you wont regret it. 😉“

“The most amazing experience ever. Can’t say enough. Both Mary and Philip are the sweetest and were absolutely a pleasure to work with. I had a Valentine’s event on feb15th which needed to be rescheduled to the 22nd and I canceled the order last minute for 30 boxes of chocolate covered strawberries. They didn’t charge me a single cent. I got the same order for the following week and they did an absolutely amazing job. The BEST CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES EVER!!!! “I have not physically been to their store, but have watched their TikToks and live stream.( J did an absolutely stunning job with the cakes she was making today. She did happy birthday cakes, to streamers, to a gory unicorn cake that represented a Halloween theme. She is very fast handed and very detail oriented when it comes to making those cakes come to life! She also went over how she makes roses on cakes as well which as her least favorite part, was my favorite part. It was pretty fascinating and captivating learning more about the art of cakes! We also were able to see her role from cake making, to her customer service abilities. In my opinion she was pretty kickass! She is very spunky and very funny. Mike has cultivated a very positive workplace where they have fun with the job, which is what it should be about. My strongest advise is don’t knock it till you try it for yourself! I called a 11 ice cream cake shops in the area only to be told that it was impossible without the right mold. One place even asked me to order a mold for them and they would see if they could make the cake but wanted to charge double for the effort. I randomly found this Carvel in Hackensack and after explaining what I wanted, one of the staff members brainstormed ways to make the cake come to life. I sent them a picture and out came the best rocket ship ice cream cake that anyone had ever eaten! The cake looked beautiful, tasted delicious and most importantly, my child was super happy.
