“Thanks for the yelp elite invite. In little part of town is a hidden gem. Must have past it numerous times. What a great experience! It was my first visit at New Territories, a Hong Kong inspired ice cream and dessert shop. When I walked in, I was greeted by nuz one of the workers there. Warm welcome & big smile.She was super informative about the menu and so much fun to talk to. Then I met the owner , Pete. Explained to me to story of the store pretty amazing. They are famous for their bubble waffles. Was hot and fresh with along with vanilla ice cream & sprinkles. I had the double lemon float with lemonade and lemon sherbet as well. Store was very clean. There was about 15 flavors of ice cream to choose from. Definitely will be going back. “My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

“We were thoroughly satisfied with our chocolate milkshake and we requested marshmallows and Nutella on it; it was very good. The place is quite busy on Christmas night. The owner, Rashad seems very nice and was working hard.“

Ice cream is exceptional compared to store bought pints. Graham Central and orange pineapple are unique and tasty to the point we’ve gotten entire birthday cakes with those flavors.“

“Have ordered a bunch of ice cream cakes for birthdays after having one at a daughter’s friends bday. They have all been delicious! After 36 years of Carvel cakes, we have officially made the switch.

Reasonably priced cakes and haven’t had any issues.

One nitpick: They definitely need to figure out how to write better on the cakes, but there are high school students working there, I blame the curriculum not teaching script for years. So if you are particular about that…just get the cake with no writing. :-)“

“Decided to stop in after a tour visit to Montclair University and receiving a gift card for Christmas. Everything was delicious. We ordered brisket fries,cheese fries, smash patty melt, Montclair Blue Burger, build your own burger and 3 shakes. Everything was amazing including the burger buns (fluffy and airy). I wish they were closer to us, Old Bridge could definitely use a really good burger place.“

“The most amazing experience ever. Can’t say enough. Both Mary and Philip are the sweetest and were absolutely a pleasure to work with. I had a Valentine’s event on feb15th which needed to be rescheduled to the 22nd and I canceled the order last minute for 30 boxes of chocolate covered strawberries. They didn’t charge me a single cent. I got the same order for the following week and they did an absolutely amazing job. The BEST CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES EVER!!!! “Well I just order theses French fries last night and they were burn and hard as a rock we need better older workers for this restaurant and we need better older waitress that could take the customers order and sever the customers the right order and for this restaurant we need a host for the front of the front entrance of the restaurant and we need a cashier for the front of the restaurant and we need a older dish washer worker that could handle the plates and we need older waitress that could pay attention to there job not giggly with there friends that's not working we need better workers for this nice restaurant and better older managers one in the morning and one at night to see how clean the restaurants tables are and also the restrooms and they should close the other side and keep that side only for special events. Because this is a American restaurants that we need real waitress and host for this beautiful restaurant.“

“My four year old was adamant that he wanted a rocket ship ice cream cake for his birthday. I called a 11 ice cream cake shops in the area only to be told that it was impossible without the right mold. One place even asked me to order a mold for them and they would see if they could make the cake but wanted to charge double for the effort. I randomly found this Carvel in Hackensack and after explaining what I wanted, one of the staff members brainstormed ways to make the cake come to life. I sent them a picture and out came the best rocket ship ice cream cake that anyone had ever eaten! The cake looked beautiful, tasted delicious and most importantly, my child was super happy. I will always place cake orders with you guys!“
