“This past spring my family and I took a roadtrip out east and after spending a day in Philadelphia watching the Union (MLS) we ventured into NJ in search of some local Italian eateries. It was a Sunday evening and not many establishments were open however we were fortunate Vitale's Italian Bistro was the exception. Warm welcoming staff greeted us, prompt and attentive wait service, and delicious food in abundance! It was a wonderful evening and a fine way in capping off our 10 day east coast road trip!”

My favorite was the Soledad, the whisky glaze was delicious, also had the hot & honey. The sauces were on point! The Bank Bar did not disappoint!”

“This is truly the best kept secret. This place rocks, darts, pool table, great atmosphere, and the porch is awesome. specially during a storm!! At 1st it looks like a house, but when you enter, it's a great place for happy hour and like a "CHEERS." Bartenders are awesome and the food is actually simple and decent. I love how you can go off the menu items and order what you want. If they have it, it can be done!”

“We’ve lived in Gloucester for 4 years and never tried this place. Husband and I went for a date night/celebrate my new job and we were very impressed! The decor is adorable. The owner caught me taking pictures of the bar, and he gave me some history on it, the tin ceiling tiles, the vintage light fixtures, and the history of the building. I had a chocolate martini that was delicious, husband had a Manhattan. We shared calamari and crème brûlée, and we both got the special of filet mingon topped with a crab cake. Everything was perfect and delicious. Our server was was also 10/10. I had no idea this little gem was just a few blocks away from our house. Didn’t even have to get in the car! We will absolutely be back. Would love to try some other things on the menu. Was so pleasantly surprised a place like this exists in this area. A true diamond in the rough!”

“My husband and I had such a great experience here. The mussels were absolutely delicious, so flavorful and cooked perfectly. The appetizers were just as impressive. The drinks were also spot on. Not to mention, the staff. They were all so friendly, attentive, and very welcoming. We will definitely be back!”

“I was recently visiting the area from Oklahoma. Popped in for a quick beer with my girlfriend. Ended up having a couple more, plus wings (the Chiodi sauce is the real deal!) and a small pizza. Fantastic food and a comfortable atmosphere, but the star of the show was Mark, who was working behind the bar. Took great care of us, made us laugh, interacted with everyone and seemed to truly enjoy his work. I don't know when I'll get the chance to be up there again, but if I make it, I'll be returning for sure!”

“The food is very very good. It's a little spicy so for people who don't like spicy food or don't eat spicy food you might want to ask what is spicy before you make your specific food item. All the ingredients can be mixed well or if you like or keep them slightly separate you can. What I prefer to get is the bowl option.( You get a little more for your money.) So for condiments you want or anything on the side(you just have to ask and they will do whichever you like) they have extra shredded cheese guacamole queso blanco and sour cream.( Basically honestly you can put anything you want/prefer on the side.)They also have a Mr.Pibbs that is amazingly fantastic!!!”
