I had been wanting to try seamoss for the longest time, and when I was feeling under the weather, just ahead of my birthday earlier this year, I said, let me find a local place to support. And up came the Sea Moss Factory in Hackensack. Lisa hooked me
up, gave me what I needed to feel better, including ginger shots that literally got me better before my birthday trip. I have been hooked ever since. Not to mention she has gone above and beyond to get me what I needed when my husband was sick with Covid. I am a loyal customer and recommend her highly! Thank you Lisa! “I couldn’t believe how great the food was. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. In addition the atmosphere was wonderful and our server Andrew In Hackensack NJ was such a delight. He totally paid attention to my nut allergy and had the manager bring my meal out to ensure it was nut free. We are definitely going back! 😃“

“I ordered ahead and picked up my Chicken Tikka Masala Bowl for lunch, which was really quick and convenient. The bowl itself was priced pretty standard and in line with other fast casual spots nearby so I don’t mind. The food was so so flavorful and honestly amazing compared to my usual bland rotation of salads and other bowls. Great textures, protein amount, and will be adding this into my usual rotation for sure!“

“Perfect start to the day! We stayed here 4 or 5 times during our week in NY for breakfast. We tested porridge, acai bowls and smoothies. The "Hell's Kitchen Sink" tastes awesome (with peanut butter and cocoa nips.) The smoothies Boo Berry, Gymbuddy and Energy Boost are each made with almond or coconut milk and protein powder .We loved everything! The service is very friendly and There are only a few seats, so we were there early (about 8 / 9h) and had no problems getting a small table.Now we are back home and miss the delicious bowls!“

Reading the founders story and appreciating the immersive design of the location you can almost feel like you escaped from 2nd avenue off to a warm sunny beach elsewhere. Enjoy surfing the flavors of your bowl, there is no need for sunscreen and you won't need to clean up any sand before you get back home. There is an additional seating space to and a restroom inside. The servings are bigger than your average Asai bowl (may be enough for 2) but the prices are also relatively high.“

“Love Playa Bowls—best açaí bowls hands down!!! They’re hearty and you get a nice size bowl/amount for the price. The options are insane!

My favorite is the power -açaí bowl w/ peanut butter (shown in the picture). My kids love the mucho mango (also in the picture) and the Stupid Cupid (not pictured).

This particular location is a nice size. They have a few tables inside as well as a seating area. There is usually seating outside as well but the entire sidewalk block is under construction at the moment.

I’ve never experienced bad customer service. I’ve dined in, ordered online for pickup, AND I’ve had it delivered before. Always a 10/10!“

“I recently visited Muscle Maker Grill in Lodi, NJ, and had the Steak Wrap — it was fantastic! The wrap was filled with perfectly grilled steak, fresh veggies, and a delicious sauce that really brought everything together. The steak was tender and flavorful, and it made for a satisfying, healthy meal without feeling too heavy.
What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service. The manager, a young lady, was incredibly helpful and super friendly. She went out of her way to make sure I had a great experience, which definitely added to the overall positive vibe of the place.
The restaurant itself has a casual, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is attentive and kind. Whether you're focused on eating healthy or just looking for a tasty meal, I highly recommend Muscle Maker Grill. I’ll definitely be back to try more items from their menu!!!“
