“We've visited Laduree in Paris, Tokyo, Singapore, NYC and Toronto. This iconic French brand has the most beautiful + yummy macarons anywhere. Paris (mothership) and Toronto also have the prettiest cafes. The Madison store is well-situated but more table space would allow customers to enjoy both the patisserie's incredible treats and the sites/sounds of the Upper Eastside. Oct 2024 - still a wonderful oasis on the Upper Eastside. Delicious Plaisir Sucre + Eugenie.“

“What an amazing and special experience we just had a frosty café. I went today for the first time with my two daughters ages 11 and nine who love Boba tea, while we were online we decided that we would also get six macaroons and started some friendly conversation with the lady in front of us. To our surprise, she paid for us and started a conversation about sharing blessings and paying it forward. We definitely got more out of this trip than we expected. There was no line and I quickly received my to-go order. The ham, egg, and cheese croissant was delicious- fluffy and flaky, not at all greasy, and the perfect cheese pull. Can't wait to return to try desserts and coffee!“

“I like this location better than the York avenue location. The space is bigger and the service seems more pleasant depending on who you get. Is also more centrally located than the York avenue location which is closer to the edge of the island.“
