They cater more to the college students. The short male bartender is amazing, great vibes! The others not much customer service. When the place is crowded very hard to get a drink.
Our server was very accommodating and very sweet. The atmosphere was dated old and dusty. Upon entering the door it smells old. Very dark not well lit. I do like to see my food. Food is just OK nothing to brag about actually my fries were pretty cold. There was just 3 other people dining not busy at all for a Friday afternoon
Grand Avenue Tavern offers a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of the 19th century. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is outstanding, with dishes like the Reuben Sandwich, Fish and Chips, and a very good Bacon Burger being tasty and satisfying. The crowd is amazing and there is a large bar, bar games, and different rooms with different activities, including fun pool tables. It is a great place to hang out and enjoy yourself with plenty of space for all. Overall, Grand Avenue Tavern is a good pub with great food and a charming setting.
