“It’s a nice place to go to hang out with friends, (and to get booze) some items may be a bit pricey but overall a good place, the owners are nice, seating is a little old, but it’s still nice, they have 2 separate outlet holes usable for the public (that I know of) it’s a great place, and I don’t want anything bad to happen to it, recommended for all ages and basic food shopping (canned foods, drinks, candy, and other snack foods).”

“I had a surprise birthday party in November 2025 at Augie's and I must say that I would not hesitate to go back! Not only is it a great venue, it's a BYOB, the food and service are outstanding. Needless to say, our guests had a great time and that made me so happy. It was a pleasure to deal with Annie and Jody. They both made this a very easy party to plan. Look forward to going back soon!!”

“After a long awaited trip to the store, it did NOT disappoint! I ordered The Casa, fresh mozzarella and burrata. Life may never be the same and I’ll be making more trips to the Bronx for the best cheese I’ve ever had!”

“If you’re ever in the Bronx and you don’t stop at Gino’s Pastry Shop, you’re missing out on a piece of real New York history. This Arthur Avenue staple has been serving up authentic Italian pastries for decades, and it’s exactly what you want from an old-school bakery — no frills, just flavor and tradition. The cannoli? Legendary. They fill them fresh to order, and the shells are crisp, flaky perfection with creamy ricotta that tastes like it was whipped up by someone’s Nonna in the back. The sfogliatelle and lobster tails are equally iconic — sweet, buttery, and loaded with filling. Don’t sleep on the rainbow cookies either — they’re dense, almondy, and always spot-on. The shop itself is cozy, with that classic Italian-American charm. Gino and the crew treat you like family, whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth. Prices are super fair for the quality, and it’s cash-only — so come prepared. Bottom line: Gino’s isn’t just a pastry shop, it’s a Bronx institution. Worth the trip, worth the calories, and worth every bite.”

“It’s a restaurant that’s reminds me of my childhood and my early Twenties that was my go to Italian restaurant. I loved everything about this place and enjoyed the great food. I took my wife to celebrate our birthday together and talked about how amazing it was growing up in this neighborhood.”

“Me and Bae had some errands to run in the bronx and decided to get some food. He's been years back but it was my first time trying them. As soon as we walked in there was a line that was wrapped around the whole place. It's a Lil confusing but we found the back of the line and slowly but surely made our way to the front. We ordered two beef and chicken patties, two coco bread, one meatloaf(beef filled coco bread) and two carrot juice and a ting soda. They get u up outta there fast tho and it's only cash. When we were leaving the line was forming outside the store so just be patient. We couldn't wait to get to the car and tear into everything. The first one I grabbed was the beef and while it was good it wasn't as seasoned as I thought it would be. But the chicken I really enjoyed and it was a Lil spicy. I ate that with the coco bread. Bae put his whole beef patty in his coco bread and devoured it lol but even he admits the beef was better back in the day. All in all I Def will be back for that chicken patty and soft delicious coco bread. Oh and that carrot juice was delicious as well Def recommend grabbing one!”

The service was great all the staff was super nice (our waiter Joseph was super kind!) the power went out due to a snow storm mid meal & we still felt well taken care of (plenty of candles and servers around). “Used to go the Mount Vernon shop when I was a kid, then after the fire and they moved to the Bronx..followed them down there- EVEN when the current owner bought from the gentile older man from MV... "Paul" has kept up standards. The Coco Breads are THE BOMB - I'd know, I was taught to make them at the bakery my Granny worked in Mo'bay every summer! A MUST HAVE !!!! Go out of your way. Brave the parking situation. DO IT, you will not regret it!”

“The best cup of coffee I’ve had at a coffee shop in a really long time! This is a hidden gem. And the owner talked to my son about his interest in cars, which was a fun treat and a memorable experience for him. Highly recommend!”
