“It’s a nice place to go to hang out with friends, (and to get booze) some items may be a bit pricey but overall a good place, the owners are nice, seating is a little old, but it’s still nice, they have 2 separate outlet holes usable for the public (that I know of) it’s a great place, and I don’t want anything bad to happen to it, recommended for all ages and basic food shopping (canned foods, drinks, candy, and other snack foods).“

“The company at Lucky Star Bagel are awesome!!! Always so friendly. Orders always ready when ordered ahead. Bagels are delicious and loaded with seeds. “The traditional Italian sub ("#1") was reviewed as the best sub in New Jersey, and I completely agree, except for the fact that their #4 sub (hot prosciutto) might be even better. The folks there are already. Be aware, cash only. There is a small parking lot behind the building with a very narrow driveway and an onto Fairmount St, so maybe it's better to come in from that direction.“

“So on the outside, this place is not so easy on the eyes. It looks like a halfway shut down makeshift deli. When you enter, there is a narrow pathway to the register but a very big sandwich making area with alot of choices and premium meats. I was super hesitant but with limited time decided to give it a chance, I ordered the godfather on a hero. It was the best sandwich I ever had! They even presented it in premium boars head paper with the boars head sticker! The prices were excellent! Give them a chance! You won't be disappointed!“

“I grew up in Waldwick so I may be biased but as an Italian American I love this place. I recently moved away from Bergen County and didn't realize how good I had it. From the quality of the ingredients, freshness, value for your money there is no better Italian deli in my opinion. Their sandwiches are so good, the cold sides and salads are also very good. It's great for lunch or catering. I also love the assortment of prepared foods/soups and other products available. I for sure make it a point to stop in whenever I'm in town. 10/10 would recommend!“

Massive menu options of fresh made food, large juice options including Fresh made juices at the health bar, Salads , Wraps and more plus you can pick up items u may need in the kitchen instead of making a supermarket run. I would say this has happened with 1 out of every 3 sandwiches I have ordered there and it ruins the sandwich. I feel like I'm taking a risk every time I order. I have also had a really hard time ordering by phone as it's extremely difficult to hear the staff on the other end. They are usually pretty fast, but I would really like more consistency. “I walk by this place everyday and stopped in one day to try the food because I was hungry and just got off the train. I was hesitant at first because I read the reviews and people complained about the food and service. I wanted to try for myself and see.

The place is clean and well organized. They also have plenty of menu items. I ordered the steak and cheese with pepper jack cheese and everything on it and a side of fries.
The cook was attentive and friendly. The steak and cheese was probably the best that I have had since I moved back to NYC.. I just moved from Florida.

The fries were not as good though which is why I took away a star. I love French fries and they tasted like they were warmed up or something. I also bought some snacks and they had some healthy selections for snacks which is a plus.

The cashier was also friendly and also attentive.

Overall it was a good experience and I will probably be back. The location is the best.
My only suggestion would be to elevate the French fries.“
