Plantation Restaurant & Bar

Really great restaurant on LBI! Only a few minutes from our rental hose, we decided to check it out for happy hour. When we first got there (early - 4:30 - we're on vacation!) it wasn't busy, but it filled up quickly. Rachel, the bartender, made amazing drink and was on point with service. This place definitely deserves 5 stars. The Calamari appetizer was perfect, not chewy at all. The Tuna nachos to die for. We got the Shrimp Scampi, Crab Cakes and Scallops over risotto. Everyone totally enjoyed their meals. Got the flourless chocolate cake to go cuz we're so stuffed. Definitely worth the price. Great nostalgic old restaurant on island with decent food. Place is always way too busy for the staff they have. So understaffed. Menu way overpriced and small portions. So loud you can hear yourself think. Food isn't bad but not hot or on time. Waiters work very hard and are all nice. Tried the braised short rub wontons were pretty good but had a weird sweet dipping sauce.
