“Amazing experience, my family loves this pizzeria. We usually order delivery or get a slice if we are nearby, today we decided to dine in. Don was our server and he’s always excellent. I ordered a shrimp parm sandwich it was great. Me and my wife were wowed by the soy ginger calamari we definitely recommend it And my wife got a lasagna everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Very grateful to have a pizzeria like this nearby.“

“I have ate at Tom Yum Koong for quite some time, almost since the time I was 15 years old. I always grabbed a bite here after tutoring and extensive study hours.

After graduating, I am practically a regular now and have tried at least everything on the menu except for the chef's specials and several appetizers. I'm sure they are great too and worth sharing as a family.

For what it's worth, the owner, Anne is a wonderful person. She is enthusiastic about her culture, her dishes, and everything she provides to her customers is simply the best. Though, the food can be heavy and forced me to go into deep food comas at times! In fact, I was so hungry one time that I ordered a Pad Thai with extra noodles! It was crazy, but the consistency and use of aromatics, as well as sauce was amazing.

For starters of Thai cusine, I recommend anything from their lunch special. The salad, soup, and entree was worth it. I suppose that the portion is less than their dinners, but mind you, everything tasted delicious! However, the only thing I'd say is that the food has gotten expensive. It makes sense, so be very careful of ordering here like I did.

As for tipping, it is required here for sit-down and encouraged for takeout. I tend to eat here alone, and there's no shame in that, but I always tend to tip around $2-3. The restaurant does not do any Uber, Door dash, or anything of the like, so if you order, you'd need to pick it up yourself after calling the store, or wait until at least 5pm and call them for delivery. They accept either cash or card, but if it's card, you'd need to tell them your card information and the amount to tip.

Regardless, Tom Yum Koong is a great restaurant. Given how long I have been eating here, the owners treat me pretty much like family. I guess it's a good thing, but it's also probably because I always prefer eating here more than anywhere else!“

“Hasbrouck Heights pizza is an excellent place. Their pasta dishes are amazing as are their chicken and eggplant. Love the margarita pizza. Delivery is quick the people on the phone are nice. We order at least twice a week. I only have one comment that’s a little negative. I view times I ordered and didn’t receive the correct item I asked for. To mention a few: On one occasion I ordered Broccoli and pasta. I asked if I could have broccoli rabe instead and was told no problem. That didn’t happen. This happened twice. On another occasion I ordered eggplant Rolatini but received eggplant para. Not terrible but not the right order. Today 8/10 I ordered a Cold sandwich Roast Beef club with bacon and L/T. But I received a Hot roast beef sandwich instead which I don’t love. The person on the phone repeated to me what I ordered she said Roast Beef Club. I usually order late when I come home from work. So only a few times I called back to get the right order. I can’t wait another 45 minutes for the correct order. I don’t know if it’s the person taking the order pushing the wrong item or the people cooking not making the ordered items. My delivery bill says Hot Roast Beef which I would never order. Would never had mentioned.“

“Just moved to town from Hudson County so we def know about good Spanish food. Only had some pernil so far but it was delicious, skin was nice and crunchy. The rest of the food there looked great too. Can't wait to go back and try the rest“

“I am so so with Chinese food. Usually picky and really don't like many places. I LOVE their General Tso's chicken!! I mean LOVE it!! We now do a Chinese food night 1x a week just because I NEED this dish in my life!! Their pork fried rice is not greasy and soggy. Also their fried cheese wontons are awesome. Again.....not greasy which is a tough one! Very happy I found this place completely randomly!“

“My husband and I asked for well done fries and instead they were barely warm and soggy. My cousins waffle wasn't even warm. Totally disappointed. We all drove an hour to meet there. I've gone there for over 20 years and this will be the last time.“
