“This place is just so good, I honestly don’t even know how to explain it properly. It really is my absolute favorite Italian restaurant and definitely the best top quality Italian food around. Every single item on the menu is outstanding every single time, never once have we gone and had anything less than an amazing meal. My family goes here constantly because it’s just that reliable and that delicious. And the owners? They treat my grandparents like actual family. They’re genuinely some of the kindest, most down-to-earth people you’ll ever meet, and it shows in every interaction. The whole vibe is warm, welcoming, and so genuine. And the food… unreal.

The boneless chicken dishes are on a different planet. They pound the chicken so thin—like literally the thinnest, most perfect delicious cutlets I’ve ever seen—and they’re always full of flavor, super high quality, and just ridiculously good. Their chicken parmigiana and chicken francese? Best we’ve ever had anywhere. No competition. If you like chicken, order anything and you’ll be happy.

The seafood is just as amazing: fresh, beautifully cooked, always presented like they truly care. We’ve tried so many specials over the years and every single one has been perfect. It’s BYOB, which makes it even better.

I recommend this place to literally everyone. It’s honestly a gem, and once you go, you get it. Definitely try to make reservations because they stay busy … but for good reason. This restaurant is seriously incredible. Go here!!!!“

“From the time we walked in the door, to the time we left it was a friendly and welcoming vibe. Now on to the food, I never once thought of putting buffalo chicken into an omelette, but they did.. and let me tell you, it’s a MUST try! The chicken was still crispy even mixed into eggs, and it was just hands down one of the best omelettes I’ve had! Let me start with this by saying, I literally add a side of bacon to every single meal that I’m able to. With that being said, it was a generous portion of crispy, flavorful bacon. My wife got the pancakes and sausage links, the sausage links were also perfectly crispy/crunchy on the outside and juicy/moist on the inside. We aren’t typically in the area much, but now whenever we are, we’ll be eating here! Plenty of options to choose from, next I’ll be intrigued to try something off the lunch menu. Highly recommend giving Foodies a try when in the area, it will not disappoint!!“

“The staff at this location were very warm and welcoming. The food came out really fast. Their portions are good too. I would say a plate here is shareable between two people. I ordered the Asadito with two sides of rice and it was just enough for my cousin and I. Their drinks are good, but not strong.“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

Having dined at some of the finest restaurants around the world, we find that this spot rivals, and in many cases surpasses, all others. Our most recent visit was a mid-morning couple’s dining stop—our answer to a calling to bring pure health and exquisite taste into our bodies and souls. abcV was the perfect answer. We indulged in the unique “Pollen” smoothie (pollen, jungle peanut butter, dates, banana, almond milk, Himalayan salt). I can’t emphasize enough how delicious this chilled and creamy culinary delight was! Served elegantly in a cabernet-style wine glass, I could immediately feel my cells rejuvenate with this healthy creation. “I took my son to Empire Steak House for his 15th birthday, and overall it was a great experience. The service was amazing, attentive, welcoming, and made the night feel special from start to finish. The sides, mashed potatoes and baked potato, were just okay and could've used more flavor, even with butter, salt, and pepper. But the steak... absolutely incredible. Easily one of the best steaks in the city. Definitely a spot I'd return to for the quality of the meat and top-tier service.“

By any regular metric, this is a 5/5. Unfortunately, this is New York. More unfortunately, they have a Michelin star. Thus, they must be judged within the strata in which they belong.

The ingredients were FRESH. This is their calling card. The carrots, the squash, the beets, the buckwheat. Kudos to their souring.

The meal is an imbalanced (to me and my table). We were craving protein, and this place highlights the produce. I will say the tastiest dish was a non meat course (mushrooms in a dashi broth)

Yes, they market as a vegetarian restaurant and confusingly do serve some chicken and fish, but 85-90% of the menu is vegan. I think the vegan dishes are totally great, home cooked style food with fresh veggies and ingredients. Yes, many Impossible and Beyond meat options, but the simpler yet hearty types of vegetable-centric and healthier-forward menu items are harder to come by at even many vegan restaurants in the city now. “I’ve never felt more at home in a restaurant than Deser B. And his team made me feel tonight. He was the most authenticly kind and hospitable person I’ve met in New York and needs to be promoted to running all of the stores the way he runs this one.
This was the most authentic Mexican taco in north America. Corn tortillas made in House for each order fresh. I tried all of the protein sources and every single one of them slapped. 20 out of 5 stars. I mean if you don’t go here while you are in town you are crazy.

The toppings and salsa were the best I’ve ever had. The tacos were ready in less than 1 min after I ordered. They are obsessed with being the best and it stands out“

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“This is what we call “fine dining.” We did not reserve the main dining room, as one of our party did not care for prix fixe. We opted for the lounge as you can have from the menu or prix fixe. When you first arrive, you are greeted by a pleasant hat/coat check lady. We arrived early and said we would wait for the other couple and were invited to wait in the intimate cocktail area. The cocktails were superb and served with a house-made cocktail snack. When the guests of the party arrived, we were escorted to the lounge area. An intimate area with about six to eight tables. After being seated and greeted by the head server (maître d' or captain), who explained our options, we all opted for the menu. After looking at all the choices, we decided to split two appetizers. Even though the number of items on each choice was uneven, the server said, “Let me take care of it". And then beautifully presented plates arrived with equal portions. And it only got better from there. The entrées were each explained in detail, including their origins and how they were prepared. I could go on and on. The fish, beef, duck breast, and pork were everything we expected and more. We all commented, maybe the best we have had. The house made desserts were perfect. I had possibly the best cheese plate I have ever had. The entire staff of servers were professionals and enhanced the evening. The most disappointing part of the evening was when a guest entering the dining room (after removing his overcoat) came in dressed in Dockers and a short-sleeve polo. This is an insult to the owner, the chef, and the entire staff at this fine restaurant. But maybe he was an elite or a “special” person. We all said we would be back.“
