“Just because it’s shaped like a bagel doesn’t make it a bagel. I am there every Wednesday morning where I buy 8 bagels. From the glass you can see the giant vat in the back where they ACTUALLY boil their bagels which is the correct way to make a bagel and not just round dough in the shape of a bagel. These bagels are the best bagels I’ve ever had in New Jersey since moving from New York. The woman behind the counter is always so nice. Their bagels for the quality are well priced. I have plenty of bagel spots around where I live but I drive a few extra miles to this place.“

“The chicken at TKK chicken here is seriously underrated, especially the wings! They’re made to order, so they take a little longer, but totally worth the wait. Super crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside, and always come out piping hot. The spice level is just right. I’m usually not a chicken tender person, but even those were good. I’m not big on bubble tea, but my family is, so it’s a great spot for all of us. Glad to have this place in the neighborhood!“

“We highly recommend Patricia's of Holmdel. We have frequented this establishment with our immediate family of 12 for birthdays, celebrations, and more! The environment is warm and inviting through its modern decor, enjoyable music, lighting, and seating. Tables are covered with white clothes and seating is comfortable whether inside or out. The location is well maintained and clean. The pricing is average for fine dining. The entire staff is exceptional. We enjoy all pleasantries with the staff members. It is evident that care is placed in choosing the staff. Each is professional, personable, and thorough. They make us feel like VIP every time we go, especially when John N. is our server. John N. is extremely knowledgeable of the inner workings of this establishment. We have severe food allergies and dietary restrictions. John N. illustrates such compassion towards us. He is diligent in keeping us safe, and keeps open communication with the chef when we are present. He is so kind and fun, too, in such a way that he feels like a family member. While eating at Patricia's it feels as if we are transported to a family dinner in Italy. “Absolutely love this place! Our waiter was amazing and very knowledgeable on everything on the menu. Yes EVERYTHING!! I personally don’t like beets but everyone I was with said they were to die for. Meatballs were amazing. The tomato sauce was so yummy. Mushrooms I would label as vegetarian steak. Beautifully charred. The sausage and peppers pasta dish is my favorite thing on the menu. I love everything about it. Pasta is always perfectly cooked. I can’t say enough good things about this place!“

“I was here when they first opened. it was not really "for me". Recently tried it again and loved it. I am vegetarian and my friend is vegan. we found options. Really enjoyed the eggplant sandwich. Would love more options (saw on one of the burger challenges a portobello on a burger, so loose the beef and just do the portobello) then I would definitely be there more often. Plan to check out the events that they have in the winter. So nice to have a quality and nice place locally to go out to at night.“

The staff was great making sure everyone had drinks all night they were extremely attentive. The food was so good!! Pleasantly surprised how good the food was.
Had the vegetable tikka pizza - well made crust was perfect.
Also had the saag paneer and naan - both were very good and came with side of rice.

Their menu is bit confusing and hard to follow but glad we tried.

“We were looking for a vegan restaurant to stop at about halfway through a drive from Bergen County to a shore point and found this place on Happy Cow. It did not disappoint! Food was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, and the portions were large. We ordered the mac & cheese with coconut bacon and the Reuben sandwich. Although we were full we ordered two desserts to go because they looked so delicious . We ate them later on at home and they were delicious as well! We got the slutty brownie and the chocolate chip cookie. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.“

The pho soup is hearty and filling, but I wish they had more topping options like bok choy or some vegetable. The owner is very friendly and on multiple occasions, has brought me some chips and sauce while I waited for my takeout order. “This is the only place I feel safe ordering in from as someone with food allergies. I have a dairy and gluten allergy and they are so accommodating with the dishes. You get big portions for a good price and the food is always so fresh. I also have a super stomach with some problems so I always feel icky eating out and since the food is cooked in high quality oil I never feel icky after eating here which is SO rare for me. The owner is incredibly kind and told me how she also has food allergies and is happy to make modifications and help. It’s so rare that restaurants welcome modifications and she always does so for me. I’ve never gotten sick here and it’s the one restaurant I feel comfortable ordering in from and look forward to doing so every week. The entire staff is helpful and are always kind and respectful even when the phone is ringing like crazy and there’s a line for pick up. They never rush you and always make you feel welcome. A local gem- thank you to the incredibly owner for giving us allergy people a safe place with delicious food and for accommodating me with a smile. I appreciate you so much.
