First time visit, Friday night, & we just missed the dinner rush & were greeted & seated immediately & cordially. The a/c was still on & it was freezing so I asked our waitress to lower it & immediately the Host did so, & also came over & apologized that it was still on from the rush, which was a total surprise, & not necessary, but very much appreciated. Went for happy hour here last Friday and honestly wasn't thinking we were going to spend $50 on 3 appetizers, two beers, and a Diet Coke but we did. I guess it isn't help that one of date's beers was $15 in itself. That's his fault but I think the waitress should have told us ahead of time before we were shocked with the bill. HIGHLAND PARK: Blue Horse Restaurant & Bar​ is a great place! Dog friendly outdoors seating, dietary friendly menu (vegan and gluten free options available), great food, fun atmosphere, friendly service. We were very impressed with how modern-thinking the place is and you can tell the effort they make to please everyone. October is there 1-year anniversary, so go out and support them!
