“Under the title “Never judge a book by it’s cover”, the Hightstown Diner delivers in a big way. I’ll admit I headed here due to a Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives episode however that “chapter ” of the Hightstown is closed. Open is this new incarnation which does not disappoint.I ordered the Greek Salad and enjoyed it thoroughly. The vegetables were fresh and flavorful. The olives magnificent, the Feta was so fresh I wondered if it was house-made, the dressing sublime. Crisply toasted Pita triangles adorned the plate for a great contrast and beautiful presentation.The price could not have been fairer, the service was friendly and quick.Vegetarian options: Not a “vegan/vegetarian” menu, however the kitchen stocks a great assortment of fresh vegetables. More options to me than most.“

“Best burrito and cheesteak in the area! This place may not look like much, but the food hits the spot every time. The owner is extremely friendly and makes everyone feel at home. Make sure to try the Chopped Cheese. This might be my favorite dish, but everything is always top quality and fast!“

“Bovine is the place to be in Jamesburg. We love their events nights like family feud, trivia, and live music because it's the kind of place you can sit down and feel welcome by the staff and people around you, especially at the bar and ESPECIALLY when the manager Kyle is on. My only knock would be price, $45 for two burgers, two fries and two drinks is a little pricey, also I wasn't a big fan of the TIP suggestion upon checkout, it wasn't table service....I'd return on occasion.“

“Just starting going to more halal restaurants lately and as for this one the best chicken wings I've had in awhile. Fresh not frozen, flats just as meaty as the drumsticks. I couldn't decide on what flavor or sauce to get since they all looked good so of course "got all of them"?. Awesome move I must say, but way too many wings for my daughter and I to eat. Although the leftovers warmed up just as good in the oven for lunch the following day(BONUS). “First time at Tgi Fridays. Went out as a family. Food was good, a little pricey. Atmosphere was great! But our server I believe her name was Elisa. She was amazing. Everything came out in a timely manner. We never had to ask her for anything, she was on point with everything. Her service was the best we've ever experienced. “For a fast food restaurant, this chain should be taking over. It seemed that the food quality for even just the burgers and chicken strips are better than what you usually get at the big top 3 fast food chains. Plus they have an ice cream dessert menu that no one else can even come close to. This is only the second of these "grill" locations I've seen. Hope they keep expanding it as it is a great option for a quick bite when on the road.“
