I’ll admit I headed here due to a Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives episode however that “chapter ” of the Hightstown is closed. Open is this new incarnation which does not disappoint.I ordered the Greek Salad and enjoyed it thoroughly. The vegetables were fresh and flavorful. The olives magnificent, the Feta was so fresh I wondered if it was house-made, the dressing sublime. Crisply toasted Pita triangles adorned the plate for a great contrast and beautiful presentation.The price could not have been fairer, the service was friendly and quick.Vegetarian options: Not a “vegan/vegetarian” menu, however the kitchen stocks a great assortment of fresh vegetables. “This is a great halal place not too far from the train station. The prices are quite reasonable, especially with the combo deals, and they have a great variety of burgers for people who prefer chicken or beef, or even mac and cheese/cheetos on their burgers! My brother and friend got the beef burger with the mac and cheese on it, and they both loved it. I personally like the classic chicken burger or the Chick Melt with fries and a soda. Their burger sauce is great and their portions are huge. “Stopped here for dinner before a show at the Starland Ballroom. Plenty of parking and a ton of tables. Has an old-school Italian feel to it. Huge menu with a lot of classic dishes. Served warm bread before the meal with the option of olive oil and butter. They had a peach sangria special that was excellent. I tried the lobster raviolis and was pleasantly surprised. These weren’t your typical store bought pre-frozen raviolis. No sir. Fresh made and stuffed with lobster. The chicken Murphy was enough for two people! Amazing. Rest assured, next time I’m at the Starland I will be stopping back here before the show.“
“I had an overall wonderful experience at Colonial Diner. The food was better than your average diner and the atmosphere was very notable. I spoke to who I believe to be the manager there about the place and he pointed out the original floors and tiles in the building. The diner had a long bar stretched across the building with multiple TVs playing movies. The staff was very friendly and my order was taken and came very quickly. I showed up about a little over an hour before closing and the restaurant did not have many people in there. The parking lot was large and had many spots. I came on a Thursday night and the staff was very quick everything was done almost immediately after sitting down.“

“I had to stop by to write this review! I ordered the honey garlic and the honey buffalo chicken wings for the Super Bowl and boy I wasn’t disappointed!!! It was finger licking good and I was so surprised that we had no left overs and our guest was inquiring about this place because it was so good. The wings were cooked to perfection, not hard or burnt under the sauce just a nice crisp that made everything so enjoyable. The owner was super sweet and the round tray that she put everything in was very professional. I’ll definitely be coming back to try some more food on her menu along with the wings. “Had a few friends over to watch the game and was in the mood for pizza. Cristo is close to my place so I figured I would order from here for delivery. Placed my order via an app and was happy to see it arrived on time. We ordered the drunken grandma pie, chicken Parm pizza, and an order of chicken fingers and fries. The chicken Parm pizza was decent. The chicken was nice and juicy and they used mozzarella and ricotta cheese which was a combo that worked beautifully together. The sauce is a bit underwhelming as it didn't have much flavor. The texture on the pizza was pretty good. The drunken grandma pie was delicious! The vodka sauce was flavorful and the cheese was really good. Decent texture on it as well. Not as crispy as I would like but still pretty good. It has a good balance of chewy and crispy. As for the chicken fingers and fries, it was pretty standard. Nothing special about it but the chicken had a decent bread to meat ratio. I've had this place once before but only had a plain slice. It was pretty forgettable but I'm happy to see that their other pizzas are good now.“

“We had a nice time celebrating my son's surprise 21st birthday at Grillestone. Jose and staff were all very nice and easy to work with and they even helped pull off the surprise. Since it was a 21st Birthday, I wanted to keep it casual and wanted food that my son enjoys when hanhing out. Jose was accommodating and I ordered all different appetizers as the meal. We had plenty of food and it came out all night long as discussed just needed a little bread in between (lol) and we even had leftovers to take home as well. We had a variety of pizza, fried calamari, avacado toast, wings, mac & cheese, nachos, sliders & fries, quesadilla & Ceasar Salad, Great staff, food, drinks all night long. The only thing missing was the band/ DJ but the weather didn't cooperate that night. Thanks again and we look forward in coming back!!!“

“Great burger, 9 out of 10 at least. Side of "seasoned tots" is misleading and were not worth it, they're just plain home fries. Avoid getting a lettuce bun or "tots" if you're doing takeout - they will be too soggy to be any good by the time you get home.“

But for today it was like 330 in the afternoon I’m out here for work so I stopped in because my plug in lunchbox wasn’t working so maybe it was a sign. I got a Mini Zac which honestly was really good the sauce which seems like some type of creamy honey/sweet mustard idk how to describe it but seemed familiar was great I don’t usually like lettuce and tomatoe on burgers bc they usually take away from the burger. This was not the case here, the burger to me had great flavor that couldn’t be masked. If you’re a crispy fries type of person these are perfect nothing burned or too crispy where it’s inedible, perfect. The only thing I didn’t like was it wasn’t busy to have an idea of atmosphere and the customer service was good for the most part. I asked if they had a menu with some pictures or description bc they only have like 6 things on display on the screens above the cashier and the kiosk wasn’t working I’m sure bc everything where there would picture was greyed out. The response I got was “no we don’t have one” and “ You need pictures ….”“
“Went with my husband and son, brought back memories from when our little family began 27 years ago and we would take mini trips to find this delicious chicken. Same taste and smell, friendly and clean. Spending the weekend with my son and husband made it more special, we don’t get to see our son that much because he’s in the military. Love this place!“

We love their events nights like family feud, trivia, and live music because it's the kind of place you can sit down and feel welcome by the staff and people around you, especially at the bar and ESPECIALLY when the manager Kyle is on. I recommend this place wholeheartedly to everyone, whether they live near or far. If I had to recommend anything (I've been here a bunch) I'd say try out the Jamesburger and Oreodough milkshake. And if you're feeling wild, get an alcoholic Nutter Udder Shake or Diablo margarita (spicy!).“
