“Dined at Fig and Tomato on a Wednesday night with my wife. Started with the most delicious flatbread with an oil spread. Wife had a large portion of chicken Milanese with delicious burrata on top. I ate the chicken Amalfi with sausage and hot peppers. Had a perfect amount of heat and beautiful thin cutlet. Ended with homemade ice cream trio which was amazing. Waitresses did a great job keeping our meal very well timed. We’ll be back very soon.“

“Osso Bico is one of our favorite restaurants. Owner, Randy, and bartender Ray make us feel like family when we come in. The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious and the service is the best. Osso Buco is one of the best Italian restaurants in northern Jersey. And that is saying something“

“i am a lover of garlic bread so when i saw garlic knot sliders i was so excited! i got the eggplant parm slider and shared a garlic knot macaroni pizza with my friends! it was more than enough food. the garlic knot sliders were definitely my favorite! i would love to come back and try the other options in their pick 3 option. the pizza was good but not anything too special, i would probably prefer plain pizza with the garlic knot crust, but it was definitely fun to try it with the 'mac and cheese' (it wasn't macaroni noodles but it was yummy nonetheless). overall i recommend coming here to try their food! they have good seating and parking wasn't hard to find on a Sunday around dinner time.“

“First time dining and had a magnificent experience. the bread and cheese starter was fantastic. chicken parm, spaghetti pomodoro, and paccheri alla bolognese were all 10s (which is not easy to achieve). the bolognese was the sleeper hit. More than anything, the service was the most important highlight. Gray was our server and made sure we had a fantastic night. Her attention to detail and great timing made us feel so welcome and attended to. Highly highly recommend this place, they’re doing everything right. environment is also so beautiful to boot.“

“Our experience at Pancetta was great! Our waitress Monica, was so friendly, patient and accommodating. She was happy to ask the bar our questions about drinks and answer any questions about food. By the end of the night we wanted her to have a seat and join us for dinner! The food came out extremely quickly and the The bar was willing to put together a drink that wasn't on the menu for us. “Excellent place, I have pretty much given up on buying lunch out because the disappointment ratio has become so high but today I decided to give it another try and just deal with the disappointment of another overpriced less than good sandwich. I work all over northern NJ and it has become very hard to find a real Italian deli however, today I stopped into Angelina's and although I already knew what I wanted I decided to ask what they recommend incase there was a special or maybe they have a best seller. They recommended "the Salvatore" which was exactly what I was after. The sandwich was the correct size and packed full of cold cuts. They didn't do the usual "let's keep making the product smaller but charge more" that you see everywhere. They make a true sandwich and charge a reasonable price. if you look up Italian deli in the dictionary there should be a picture of Angelina's its exactly what anyone who is over 40 years old remembers as a true New Jersey Deli. Thank you for a great lunch! I can't wait to get another job in that area so I can stop in!“

“Place is a hidden treasure. Food is outstanding! The waiters were very welcoming, funny and very attentive without rushing us before we could ask for anything they were right there. The owner is super sweet with a beautiful personality. He makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. The food was phenomenal every dish was seasoned perfectly and portions were plentiful. The prices very reasonable for the service and food quality they provide. This is so far our favorite Italian cuisine restaurant I'm so glad we live close by we will be back. “This fine Italian deli has been around since 1996. I used to work up the block and came here regularly for lunch sandwiches or a homemade chicken parmesan or eggplant parmesan. I moved out of the area after retiring, and I was back visiting in Hackensack. We went here for lunch hero sandwiches. We all opted for a number 10, turkey with fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, and balsamic vinegar. Ooooh, so good! Just like what I remember from 25 years ago. Cosmo looks the same..... just a little older! We washed the sandwiches down with Dr Brown' cream sodas. They also carry Stewart's sodas. Wow! You don't find that delicious soda in a deli often. Cosmo carries the best products! BTW: the sandwiches are loaded up with the ingredients; there's no skimping here. I totally forgot sandwich photos before I ate half, as we all dove in to eat after getting home. Parking is just behind the deli. If you're traveling down Rt 4, get off at either Main St (eastbound) or Kinderkamack Rd (westbound). I highly recommend this excellent Italian deli. It's the real deal!“

“Every time we go to Lavagna, the owner and his staff are always gracious and accommodating. This past weekend, my family and I were looking for a place to go after my Mom's wake. It was after 8:00 pm and we thought we would try Lavagna, knowing that they may not be able to accommodate the 12 of us as is was late and Friday's are usually very busy. We asked and they went out of their way to seat us as close as possible and served us with a smile even with two picky kids in tow. The food was delicious, as always. Thank you Lavagna staff for a relaxing, delicious comforting meal!“

Eggplant rollatini and pasta with vodka sauce are always delicious, and seafood entrees are especially good (always fresh and portions are generous). We ordered from the special prix fixe menu that had so many great choices, it was hard to choose.
We settled on the scallops over polenta and the spring rolls with teryaki to start, and the panko horseradish flounder and grilled shrimp salad. Desert was the poached pear with raspberry sorbet.
Everything was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The wait staff is friendly and extremely efficient, and just make dining there such a terrific experience!“

“My wife and I were there for a political function combo meeting and Christmas luncheon. This establishment is super clean, bright, and cozy. The food and wine were delicious. I had chicken parm. Was fantastic. Was batted down thin and breaded and seasoned to perfection. VERY tender, I only had to use my folk to cut. The marinara was fresh semi chunky lite delicious and perfect. The fresh bread came in handy to clean up my plate. My wife has a fresh pasta marinara dish and NO complaints there. Yesterday, when we got our order to Sloatsburg, there was an omission in the order ( we really should have checked before we left). As always, Dom’s went above and beyond to make this right.
