“Dined at Fig and Tomato on a Wednesday night with my wife. Started with the most delicious flatbread with an oil spread. Wife had a large portion of chicken Milanese with delicious burrata on top. I ate the chicken Amalfi with sausage and hot peppers. Had a perfect amount of heat and beautiful thin cutlet. Ended with homemade ice cream trio which was amazing. Waitresses did a great job keeping our meal very well timed. We’ll be back very soon.“

“Osso Bico is one of our favorite restaurants. Owner, Randy, and bartender Ray make us feel like family when we come in. The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious and the service is the best. Osso Buco is one of the best Italian restaurants in northern Jersey. And that is saying something“

“Wish I had more time to discect their Pizza. Was in town for National Hot Dog Day and snuck in a slice in between. Wish I went with the Garlic Knot slice now, but the regular slice was speaking to me. It was a very good slice that had good harmony. I like more sauce, but it did the trick. Was one of the better fill you belly slices I have had. The workers were friendly and place was clean. Cool art work on the walls. I will definitely be goinv back soon. Nice surprise pizzeria.“

“Place is a hidden treasure. Food is outstanding! The waiters were very welcoming, funny and very attentive without rushing us before we could ask for anything they were right there. The owner is super sweet with a beautiful personality. He makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. The food was phenomenal every dish was seasoned perfectly and portions were plentiful. The prices very reasonable for the service and food quality they provide. This is so far our favorite Italian cuisine restaurant I'm so glad we live close by we will be back. If I could give a 10 star I would!“

“Excellent place, I have pretty much given up on buying lunch out because the disappointment ratio has become so high but today I decided to give it another try and just deal with the disappointment of another overpriced less than good sandwich. I work all over northern NJ and it has become very hard to find a real Italian deli however, today I stopped into Angelina's and although I already knew what I wanted I decided to ask what they recommend incase there was a special or maybe they have a best seller. They recommended "the Salvatore" which was exactly what I was after. The sandwich was the correct size and packed full of cold cuts. They didn't do the usual "let's keep making the product smaller but charge more" that you see everywhere. They make a true sandwich and charge a reasonable price. if you look up Italian deli in the dictionary there should be a picture of Angelina's its exactly what anyone who is over 40 years old remembers as a true New Jersey Deli. Thank you for a great lunch! I can't wait to get another job in that area so I can stop in!“

I have to start off by saying our waitress, Monica, was wonderful ! She had such an amazing personality, was super friendly and helpful. She gave so many great suggestions of other places to try during our stay which was SO appreciated and helpful. Also, the food by Chef Ian was absolutely wonderful! I had the pan seared chicken which was to die for and the meatball appetizer tasted wonderful. “Every time we go to Lavagna, the owner and his staff are always gracious and accommodating. This past weekend, my family and I were looking for a place to go after my Mom's wake. It was after 8:00 pm and we thought we would try Lavagna, knowing that they may not be able to accommodate the 12 of us as is was late and Friday's are usually very busy. We asked and they went out of their way to seat us as close as possible and served us with a smile even with two picky kids in tow. The food was delicious, as always. “Had a fabulous dinner on a recent Sunday evening. Several specials offered in addition to the regular menu. Eggplant rollatini and pasta with vodka sauce are always delicious, and seafood entrees are especially good (always fresh and portions are generous). Our server, Edward, was attentive, friendly, and helpful. One of our favorite casual neighborhood restaurants. Highly recommend.“

“This fine Italian deli has been around since 1996. I used to work up the block and came here regularly for lunch sandwiches or a homemade chicken parmesan or eggplant parmesan. I moved out of the area after retiring, and I was back visiting in Hackensack. We went here for lunch hero sandwiches. We all opted for a number 10, turkey with fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, and balsamic vinegar. Ooooh, so good! Just like what I remember from 25 years ago. Cosmo looks the same..... just a little older! We washed the sandwiches down with Dr Brown' cream sodas. They also carry Stewart's sodas. Wow! You don't find that delicious soda in a deli often. Cosmo carries the best products! BTW: the sandwiches are loaded up with the ingredients; there's no skimping here. I totally forgot sandwich photos before I ate half, as we all dove in to eat after getting home. Parking is just behind the deli. If you're traveling down Rt 4, get off at either Main St (eastbound) or Kinderkamack Rd (westbound). I highly recommend this excellent Italian deli. It's the real deal!“

“My husband and I had another terrific meal at Broadway Bistro last evening.
We ordered from the special prix fixe menu that had so many great choices, it was hard to choose.
We settled on the scallops over polenta and the spring rolls with teryaki to start, and the panko horseradish flounder and grilled shrimp salad. Desert was the poached pear with raspberry sorbet.
Everything was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The wait staff is friendly and extremely efficient, and just make dining there such a terrific experience!“

“My wife and I were there for a political function combo meeting and Christmas luncheon. This establishment is super clean, bright, and cozy. The food and wine were delicious. I had chicken parm. Was fantastic. Was batted down thin and breaded and seasoned to perfection. VERY tender, I only had to use my folk to cut. The marinara was fresh semi chunky lite delicious and perfect. The fresh bread came in handy to clean up my plate. My wife has a fresh pasta marinara dish and NO complaints there. The waiter and waitress were professional, non obtrusive, thoughtful and caring about their service to us. Thank you iL Portico for having us and making us feel welcomed! Merry Christmas! Yesterday, when we got our order to Sloatsburg, there was an omission in the order ( we really should have checked before we left). As always, Dom’s went above and beyond to make this right. They drove my order to Sloatsburg and included several delicious extras! Their catering always makes our events delicious, but yesterday they made it extra delicious. Dom’s has amazing food and even better service.“

“Had a surprise birthday party here for my sister in law. The staff, including Brianna and Jasmine were fantastic. They were so accommodating with our requests and the service and food were on point! We were able to arrive early to decorate our party area that already looked very nice without our decorations. We picked off their standard party menu but they had no problem tweaking it to our requests. Last minute requests for pasta and butter for kids was no problem. We have already placed a deposit for my daughter's bridal shower for next year. Also..BYOB!!!“
