“I have tried other Popeyes in my area and it's just not the same as my first time here at the Hillside Popeyes
The service was excellent, the food was fresh, store was clean and The Atmosphere was peaceful..
The Young ladies were very welcoming
I will surely visit again..

“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. If I were in NJ longer, I would surely order again! The food is absolutely delicious 😋“

“I ordered Chicken Biryani and Chicken Kabab through Uber Eats. After I ordered , I realized that I forgot to order Nan. So I called the restaurant and ask them that what can I do now. The person(probably the owner) replied , I will add Nan and whenever you visit, give me 2 Dollars. That was really a nice gesture which I will remember and must appreciate(along with the debt on me).
Talking about food, I had eaten many Biryanis in USA but it is one of the best real Pakistani biryani. Kababs were also fresh and tasty. I highly recommend those who want to have Halal and real Pakistani taste, must visit.“

“Been coming here for a while now and the food has been amazing. The fried chicken is one of the best I’ve had in all of the east coast. They also just got BBQ Ribs and Oxtails. And they are heavenly, and full of flavors. Feels like im in a Jamaican/fried chicken cuisine. Best of both worlds.“

Also there's no seating, it's strictly take out, the prices are very fair, and it offers a decent amount of other products similar to a small bodega. “Good food at affordable prices I’m a clean establishment. Fried chicken always freshly done and I will say it’s a good place to stop in for a quick bite but recommend grabbing your food to go. Thugs and dealers in community doesn’t make the spot feel inviting.“

“I stopped here after I finished getting my nails done next door. I used their ATM and came back. I grabbed lamb over rice with salad. The lamb was delicious the rice was ok expected more flavor. People weren’t watching their kids and they were eating off other peoples plates. I don’t mind sharing with kids but please don’t allow them to stick their hands in random strangers plates. “Been going to Happy Paisa Chicken for decades. Though I’m a pescatarian, I’ve always been satisfied with delicious food. My mom and friends like the chicken meals; I enjoy tostones, salad, rice, yucca, beans (frijoles), green sauce, puffed cheese pastries, and more. Since the 2020’s began, however, there is only the Take-out option; no dine-in.
A word of caution: be careful to park legally on the street; I’ve gotten a couple of parking tickets there over the years.“
