While our first visit on a Sunday morning was disappointing due to being overlooked while staff focused on prep, the management response was prompt, direct, and genuinely accountable. They acknowledged the mistake, explained the situation, and took full responsibility without making excuses. It’s clear they take hospitality and feedback seriously and want to make things right. We’re willing to give them another try based on how professionally this was handled.“

“I ordered a custom birthday cake for my twins. It had a picture of them with their faces as spiderman. It came out awesome. There was an issue with the 3rd party delivery, but no one from the store called me to give me a heads up. It wasn’t until my husband asked where the cake was so he can see how it came that i realized it was never delivered! I called and the girl working got in touch with her manager who was very accommodating and super nice. We figured an alternative way for me to get the cake delivered with expenses covered and they also gave us some free ice cream cookie sandwiches which was a pleasant surprise! I would order a cake from them again.“

“The Fro Yo cafe in Matawan is my happy place. I love the decor and the nostalgic atmosphere. The frozen yogurt is delicious and authentic and the topping bar is always so clean and organized with lots of variety. I especially appreciate that the fresh fruit is consistently high quality. Their attention to detail with customer service is exemplary! It's the little things, like having a plastic rewards card instead of a paper one and the more premium cup and spoon option, that make Fro Yo Cafe such an enjoyable experience. The staff are really accommodating, helpful, and friendly! I recently went in when Sydney and Derek were working and they both made my experience so seamless and positive. Sydney goes the extra mile to assist customers and is clearly very competent at her job. It does not seem like any of these details should matter at a frozen yogurt cafe, but honestly coming to Fro Yo Cafe can be the highlight of my week sometimes. I believe all the intentionality of the staff contributes to that 5 star experience!!! It's Fro Yo Summer!!“

“CONE ZONE HAS BANGERS ONLY!
Cone Zones ice cream cakes are like Carvel on another level. When you cut into them, there are so many chocolate crunchies, they fall all over your plate like a piñata. Then that layer of yellow cake in between slaps every time.
They’ll create any type of decoration you want on an ice cream cake. You can email them any picture and they’ll print it out and put it on the ice cream cake for you. They even helped me celebrate twice when I almost got charged with third degree bicycle robbery, so they’ve been there for me for some key life moments.
On top of all that, if you’re too smacked to go pick up your ice cream, you can get it delivered! And don’t even get me started on their Peanut Butter Crunch ice cream flavor omg“

“This is a locally owned, seasonally open, dairy queen. This site only offers ice cream, unlike larger restaurants. Greg, the owner, employs local kids and is a very friendly local business owner. Highly recommend dropping in and supporting local.“

“Love the location right on Main Street. Plenty of outdoor seating and it's nice to walk around Freehold with a cold treat. The custard is rich and creamy, and the Italian ice has real fruit flavor. I got a gelati (custard layered with ice) and it hit the spot.
Only complaint is they were out of a few flavors when I went, which seems to happen often at this location. Also a bit pricey for what you get.
Still a solid spot for dessert on a warm night.“

“Been a while since I've seen a Tom Carvel ad (I suspect he's dipping cones in hot fudge in the heaven location now), and maybe 15+ years since I've enjoyed the custard at Carvel. Have done lotsa DQing. It's okay. And I think the dense, dense thick custard at Rita's may be a richer take on the confection. But Tom's custard was great on a hot late summer day.“

“On 2/7 I ordered A large ice cream sheet cake from my mom‘s 94th birthday. Molly and her coworkers did not have the large, but they had two mediums. They are both absolutely beautiful. They went above and beyond with the decorating and I love how they even put happy birthday to her on the bag that they came in. Thank you, Jessica and crew for always being consistent and going above and beyond.“

“Tonight I ran across the sweetest young lady with a heart full of compassion. My apple pay was failing me and I couldn’t pay for my child’s ice cream; then Cheinha (our server who helped us with such eagerness from start to finish) payed my balance. While I plan on going back and gifting this young lady; I wanted to shout her out for her act of kindness because in the world we live in that type of “love for your fellow man” isn’t seen to often anymore and it was definitely appreciated . “It's not as pricey as i thought it was gonna be. My daughter and I love crumbl!! The cake batter cookie is my favorite one. The staff were all very nice and helpful. I recommend everyone try crumbl at least once! you won't regret it“
