“I have had two bridal showers at Portofino in Oak Ridge, and not only did everyone love the food, but Nancy and the entire staff is outstanding. They go above and beyond to help you in any capacity that they can. I highly recommend Portofino either for lunch, dinner or any kind of event you have whether it is big or small. You can't go wrong with Portofino, I can't say enough great things about the staff and restaurant!“

“Came for dinner with another couple. The tapas eggplant was delicious, light and flavorful. Just lovely. We had two burgers and two steaks. All delicious and perfectly cooked. Service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful, however, there is a huge bar in the middle of the restaurant. Which normally would not be an issue but this evening four young women were “working” the older men sitting at the bar. It became clear as the evening progressed that this was going on. None of us could believe what was happening right next to our table!! As the targeted men left the bar the young women quickly moved on to their next victims. It was all very obvious and pretty repulsive. Such a shame to have this type of thing happening in a lovely restaurant. I would hope management will be alerted by the bartenders that their establishment has become prey for this type of behavior. Quite unsettling.“

“Ordered the margarita pizza and it was horrible. Never had raw garlic on a pizza and the tomato was just clumped on and not even cut open. It was also burned and I ended up throwing it away. What a waste of 16. - never again“

“The people who work here always have been friendly and kind. Always say hello when you walk in. I ordered online and when I got home they forgot to put chicken on my Chiwawa. I got a survey I complained and in an hour I got a response of an apology and a nice coupon for my next time I go. Things do happen and people make mistakes but customer service was great on making it right for me. I really enjoy their food . But Bubbakoos is worth a try.“

The pickled Coyote was so good wish I can buy some for home. Our food was very very good. My boyfriend got the beef ramen and I got the pork udon soup. Dumplings were amazing everything was great. Our server was just very friendly. The bathroom was super clean. Would come again for sure! My new favorite place. Becoming regulars. Don’t listen to the bad reviews. Those people don’t know good food I been to 6 other ramen and soup houses. And this one is far very good. Please visit this establishment. The pork was so tender! Update. The kimchi was good. I don’t really like spicy but it was amazing when dipped in the soup the kimchi. The server/owner was talking about the probiotic properties of the kimchi very informational very happy. And the filtered water cups were a plus. And the hot tea when we first sat down was nice and welcoming. I wasn’t a fan but I still love to interact with different cultures.“

“This has become one of our go-to places to gather with friends and family. Funny enough, it was actually an Italian coworker who first got me hooked on their buffet about 13 years ago.. and I’ve been coming back ever since.

They have both round and rectangular tables (the rounds even come with a lazy Susan), and the staff is great about arranging them for larger groups. We were a party of six adults and three kids this time… everyone fit comfortably at the round table, even with the little ones in regular chairs.

We’ve hosted my niece’s birthday here before when the family rented out the entire place… and the food was phenomenal then…it still is now. The dishes range from mild to medium spicy, with plenty of chutneys and pickles on the side if you want to turn up the heat or add extra flavor. The kids always find something they love too..especially the lentil dishes with naan or rice.

If you haven’t been in a while, you might notice the decor’s been refreshed… more neutral tones and simpler artwork. Some of our friends were surprised, but honestly, we come for the food, not the walls!

Still one of the best buffets around.. highly recommend it to all our friends and family.“

I can’t thank Sergio enough for the personal tasting, a chef kitchen table unbelievable!
The menu was right on point, orzo was addictive. The eggplant balls I never even knew it was a thing, now I can’t wait to come and get a dozen with a big container of sauce! The ricotta and mozzarella were delicious, perfect with the meatballs and eggplant. The penne with vodka sauce oh my goodness, I wish my son was there too, It’s his favorite.
The look on Santi’s face when he was eating the filet and then the shrimp biggest smile he had all night. The artichoke and veggies so delicious! Both of the chicken dishes looked so good. I was almost tempted and you know Sabrina and I are both vegetarian, but I think she actually took a bite!
Not sure if you saw us, but with each plate, it was an oh my goodness you have to taste!
This was extremely thought out and you’re an absolute professional!

“We held my mother and her twin brother’s 75th birthday in the Patio Room on Friday evening. Everything was perfect. The food was wonderful. Everyone was stuffed! My favorite was the shrimp and scallops, my husband’s couldn’t get enough of the prime rib! Jonathan and his team took such great care of us. He was so attentive. I have no idea how he remembered what everyone was drinking because we were getting up and mingling, but he managed to make sure everyone had a drink in their hand. Being next to the pizza oven when it was below freezing made it so cozy! I would absolutely recommend Cinders; a great time was had by all.“

The staff let me taste a couple beers before I chose one to go with my calamari appetizer which was very large and well prepared. I do think the standout appetizer was the tuna which had an amazing citrus flavor. For my main I had the sea bass while most of the others had streaks. I thought it was delicious and the rice delicious. Maybe a tad too much butter for me, but no complaints. I skipped desert but the chocolate cake and apple tarts looked amazing. Service was top notch, my water glass was consistently filled and the staff present but not too much so. A great late afternoon dining experience.“
